Delicate Powdery Elegance with a Woody Finish
I admit, I have not yet had the big Aha moment with Arabic fragrances. Most of them are simply too opulent and too synthetic in an unpleasant way for me. Modern aroma chemicals like Ambrocenide & Co. are rarely used sparingly by perfumers. After all, these often inexpensive fragrances are supposed to last long and not fall short of their big-name counterparts in terms of longevity and sillage. And we know: Even with modern niche fragrances, biting aroma chemicals are often not spared.

However, I still had a desire to test Takhail. Not only because I find the bottle, which somewhat resembles Guerlain's bee bottles, very pretty, but also due to the fragrance descriptions here in the community. In particular, dear Puderperle made me very curious with her review, and when she also offered me her decant, I couldn't say no.

And I was rewarded. Because Takhail is really beautiful. The first spray briefly makes me think of suffocating powder bombs like Teint de Neige, but that fades relatively quickly. The scent becomes soft and gentle. It remains powdery, but in a subtle, unremarkable, and intimate way. For me, this is not laundry detergent, as Takhail does not smell as sharp as freshly washed laundry. Rather like a body powder or a gentle cream, and consistently unsweet. At first, my favorite deodorant from Wolkenseifen, Perfect Day, came to mind. And as the scent settled, it began to remind me of another fragrance created by one of my favorite perfumers: L’Eau Blanche by IUNX. Takhail goes exactly in that direction. White, powdery elegance with a slight touch of woodiness.

It is probably not as refined as L’Eau Blanche; due to the lack of a decant, I can't compare directly at the moment, but it is this fragrance direction that comes to mind, and I could imagine that fans of this discontinued dream fragrance by Olivia Giacobetti would certainly enjoy it. Perhaps there is a hint of hairspray synthetic in the dry down, or perhaps not. This note is so subtle and insignificant here that I only smell it when I think, it must be there in an Arabic fragrance from the low-price segment. Therefore, definitely test it yourself and don’t let it unsettle you. For my nose, it is definitely successful and an absolute bargain for the price. It fits generally into any fragrance wardrobe.

I would like to sincerely thank dear Puderperle for the decant.

I didn't see it coming. Maybe I didn't want to see it. The wishful thinking was sometimes more beautiful than the stark reality. Naked and vulnerable. That's how I felt right now. The tears tasted salty as I turned into my driveway. Minutes passed before my legs moved and hoisted me out of the car seat. Like leaden lumps.
Parts of my heart numb, disordered, scattered in all directions. The brightly painted future suddenly dissolved, like a massive sandstorm. Nothing could be grasped anymore. Nothing really recognizable, disoriented.

Like a wounded deer, I sank into the tub. Washing away the emotional dirt of the soul. Everything that didn't belong to me. In the hot steam, the inner current calmed down a bit.
My body tingled, and my fingertips mechanically spread a thick, soft cream on my thirsty skin. I imagined bright doves would caress me with their wingbeats. In the background, the gentle voice of my Babushka sang a lullaby. How much the memories of her had already faded, but now they seemed clearer than ever. She had truly loved me. I had always been her girl.

Walking barefoot to bed, only dressed in delicate cream. The gentle scent of the white cotton sheets embraced me. So clean, so pure. No dirt and no noise. Just let the tired limbs fall and be carried.

With closed eyes, I buried my face in the soft nest, among the quietly crackling down feathers.

“Here you are safe.
Here you are allowed to be.
Here you are home,”

they whispered to me. Home! Here I was truly home. The happiness I had sought outside was so close after all. A lace bandage wrapped around my sad heart.
“Time heals all wounds. Trust the Process” was written on a little note I found under the pillow. Comforted, I could smile again as my soul rocked into sleep.

Takhail translates from Arabic as “imagination.”
However, the fragrance only allows for a limited framework for inner images, as the association with the rich Dove or Nivea body cream seems to be predetermined. Freshly showered, cleanliness and white bed linens provide a feeling of security and arrival. Just feeling good. A loving person who genuinely means well and pulls up the starched sheets to the tip of your nose to ensure that the cold finds no hiding place.
In the “clean” cotton frame, there are no limits to the imagination.
Takhail is not old-fashioned, even if Babushka was mentioned. Rather familiar. Despite slightly sweet undertones, gentlemen might also find pleasure in it. Nothing jabs, nothing disturbs. No synthetic needles, as are often found in Arabic perfumes these days. According to Smellnice's statement, the fragrance is supposed to be alcohol-free, which is why the dosage on textiles should be considered.
I wouldn't describe Takhail as a laundry detergent scent, but rather as a creamy skin scent without vanilla and other unnecessary flowers.

The bottle allows for further dreaming once you’ve made yourself comfortable. Frosted, transparent glass with a pretty, oriental pattern. The ribbon adds a romantic touch. The milky white liquid also fits harmoniously into the overall picture. Overall, a refinement for any vanity, beautifully draped next to pearl necklaces and powder compacts.
I can definitely imagine Takhail as an office scent or in customer/patient contact.

The longevity is moderate, and the sillage is surprisingly dense for a clean cream scent. One to two sprays are enough to perceive it very well. Nivea, on the other hand, behaves like a watery sip.
The first test triggered a shock love that made me forget all sandstorms.

Thank you, Duftwolke77, for giving me the opportunity to get to know Takhail. Since then, he has moved in with me. Sometimes you know immediately when you have found your home. He is unbelievably beautiful.

All over - from top to bottom and for layering
Eau de Anni described this scent as her night fragrance. Intrigued and alerted, I immediately made a blind purchase.

Normally, Rasasi's perfumes are in the lower price range.
I actually hesitated to spend more than 50 euros for a body spray, but I was curious. Since there was no testing option, the spray had to be bought in full size.

The scent
is a white dream. From the fragrance pyramid, I could possibly detect the cotton blossom and sandalwood. Everything else I would describe as
floral
creamy
charming.
For a body spray, it has a reasonable longevity of 5-6 hours.
It is perceived as floral and elegant.
I wear it as a base, and my laundry still smells of it in the evening when I take it off.

If I were to marry again (I won't, but if we could turn back 10 years), I would douse myself from head to toe with this body spray on my day and then add a few drops of a lovely Chanel. Perfectly dressed, and everyone loves to smell it. As soon as you catch a whiff of the scent, a sense of comfort sets in.

The bottle
perfectly matches the scent. Not angular and modern, but rather rounded and playful. Frosted glass for the white juice is very nicely chosen.
Points are deducted for the cheap ribbon and the adhesive label, on which the name is printed and which starts to peel off after just 10 uses of the bottle.

I hope I could pique your curiosity a bit.
Testing recommended!

Despite the dominating, very artificial-sounding white musk, it has a certain charm through its soft woody spice and subtle floral notes.

To all freshy (fresh laundry, body cream) lovers - there exists: a long-lasting fresh, creamy scent with a strong sillage. Must have!

This body spray is really amazing.
Creamy, well-groomed, lightly floral, and wow.
I love to spray it on before going to sleep.

It's like Dove launched a body lotion in the scent of "Crystal Noir (Eau de Parfum) | Versace." Beautiful!

Very nice, only downside - can only be sprayed on skin, as it’s alcohol-free. Very creamy and sweet on my skin, quite oriental.

The Dove scent. Creamy, clean, well-groomed. Just a dream. Unfortunately a bit too close to the skin, but still really beautiful.

Powdery, creamy, well-groomed. A great clean girl scent. Can also be used as a deodorant.
