Hunayn and Jinx, please collab again
The idea one may get from the listed notes, and their order, won't portray properly this perfume.

This one is mainly about a light-petaled, subtly citric rose, supported by other florals and lightly herbal, going towards a sweet woody mix at the heart, in which sandalwood is predominantly beautiful and airy. A subtly animalic depth can be felt almost from the beginning and is more perceptible at the base, never funky or distasteful, evoking skin warmth.

It may be because of associations of my past, but this is one of the most luxurious feeling fragrances I own. I can imagine a really high end hotel room, sunlit, clean, decorated just enough and mainly by light woods.

Such as that, this perfume is never overpowering and I think it would lose its character if it were so. It can be felt around 8-10 hours and it is a delight to feel it evolve and finally meld with one's own smell.

Please, try it.

Elysian Rose.
I haven't read the description or what inspired the two artisan perfumers to create this fragrance, but I got the impression that it is a modern reinterpretation of the collective image of floral fragrances of the past.

I haven't smelled the previous version either, but I've hear that the perfume has a density and persistence comparable to attar. Here, it is also high, but that's not what this is about.

I fell in love with artisan perfumery because of its high content of natural notes, but here you can feel the hand of Artur from Jinx, because even though it's not listed in the pyramid, I can sense the presence of synthetic notes. It's not terrible and seems to be moderate (unlike, for example, in Blue Chyp Jinx, which, in my opinion, contains a ton of aldehydes), but considering that the perfume is quite persistent and diffuse, this synthetic note becomes annoying over time, and something tells me that after a while it may cause me to use this perfume less often or fall out of love with it.

Okay, too much text, but what does it smell like? In general, it is difficult for me to describe this fragrance, most likely due to the excellent blending of ingredients. It is also difficult to do because the fragrance transforms very often; it is perhaps the most changeable fragrance I have ever smelled. Still, for me, it's a rose fragrance, and the rose here is slightly retro, but not like the one we are used to smelling in fragrances. It's a ‘modern’ interpretation of a retro rose fragrance; it's airy, slightly sour, slightly creamy and greenish. Sometimes the perfume has a floral soap scent, sometimes a sour fizzy sweet, sometimes dry wooden sticks, sometimes watery flower stems.
Question: why is sandalwood in the name? I don't smell it at all, although I understand that depending on the content, sandalwood can reveal itself in radically different ways. Here, it may simply add a watery note to the fragrance with its ‘brine’ part. But I don't sense sandalwood as the main note here.

The fragrance is complex and I think it will definitely appeal to lovers of floral perfumes, but from my point of view, it is worth refraining from buying this fragrance blindly.
