(Not) a bad sign
I am such a blind buy victim. When I read about a fragrance and think that it absolutely has to suit me and is also a cheapie, the order button is sometimes quickly pressed.
This was also the case with Bad Icon.
Of course, I regretted the order shortly afterwards: "Do I have to, I already have so much. Probably another bottle that will sit forgotten in the cupboard. The bottle is probably made of plastic. The fragrance is probably full of scents like Ambrocenide and/or Ambroxan, Oud, Iso-E-Super, Neroli/Orange Blossom, which I find so awful. And I've never liked the many fragrance notes that are listed - simply far too many. And then it's marketed by a company from Poland that sells nail design products. The perfume is definitely another bad buy).
Should the name of the fragrance be indicative?
None of this turned out to be true and the fragrance is a dream (for me) and perfect for the coming fall/winter season. I would describe it as sweet-oriental/sweet-gourmand.
When I opened the package, I was met with a fragrance that I didn't like at all, and I thought the bottle had leaked and felt confirmed. Until I found a small card enclosed which informed me that the package had been scented with a different fragrance.
Unfortunately, I still find it difficult to identify and describe fragrances, even though I already belong to "Club 10". I can only draw comparisons and for me the fragrance is similar to Dolcelisir, Khaltat Night Eau de Parfum - without the cherry, Arabesque or even "Farah / Harâm | Brecourt". And my above-mentioned hate fragrance notes are not recognizable to me. The promotional photo prominently features coconut. I can't smell coconut and I think that's a little misleading. I can recognize apple, honey, tonka and cinnamon. The fragrance notes are beautifully interwoven. The longevity is good to very good.
The bottle is also very beautiful and high-quality, made of heavy, dark red, slightly transparent glass. Although the lid is made of plastic, it is high-gloss, heavy and has a magnetic closure (which for me enhances the bottle even more).
As soon as time permits, I'll post a photo of the bottle.
