GOAT or is it?
Where do I start with this one? GOAT Rose is a beautiful rose-oud that not only showcases rose as a star ingredient but emphasizes its more delicate and elegant facets.
The opening begins with a blast of pineapple and rosewood, lending a tropical feel. It quickly settles into a rather green rose, chock full of precious ottos, invoking the image of a lush field of roses, dancing in a kinamic breeze provided by its vintage kinam base and airiness from the ambergris carrier.
Defining a simple color of green rose to this combination would be rather difficult, it is a full spectrum of roses ranging from the greenest stem to scarlet red petals.
The auxiliary sandalwood, frankincense, and floral/woody materials serve the purpose of anchoring the rose, allowing its full transformation from a green bud to a full-fledged flower.
My thoughts exactly; a bush of roses, transitioning from green to red.
In my humble opinion, Arthur excels at what I like to call a French (usually cleaner and greener) Rose and this showcases just that. A rose, pristine and dewy, enveloped in a glass case with an atmosphere of kinam and incense.
TLDR; Affectionately called Baja Rose by some of us, GOAT Rose is a must try for any and all clean, green rose lovers.
