Notting Hill the better Office for Men???
Hello everyone,
I'm trying my hand at a fragrance description again.
The scent itself:
- Top notes are present, both bergamot and lemon blossoms, with just a hint of ginger
- Heart notes, yes, I can perceive the maritime notes after about 5 minutes. The coumarin adds a touch of spiciness.
- The top note is pleasantly soft. Patchouli, which is supposed to be earthy, smoky, and woody, I don't perceive or only to a limited extent. More tests needed.
I can't pick out the floral aspect of linalool. What do you think?
Sillage: Quite weak, but in my opinion, this makes it well-suited for the office.
Longevity: Sprayed at 1:15 PM: Left wrist Notting Hill - right wrist Office for Men.
Both are still perceptible at 9:15 PM. NH is soft and gentle, while Office for Men radiates with its "woody" note, which I unfortunately don't like as much. But everyone perceives it a bit differently.
Definitely try it before buying to see how it works on your skin.
I've noticed that when I spray NH in the room, it develops a stronger woody note. The woodiness doesn't come through as strongly on my skin.
Tip: If you prefer it even zestier, try layering NH with Orange Sanguine from Atelier Cologne and Maison Margiela Replica Under the Lemon Trees.
Conclusion: I like the scent because it starts fresh, stays fresh, and then becomes mild and soft, remaining that way.
8 hours+ is a good value for longevity in a fresh scent.
