There are "everyday" smells that each of us loves.
That of the rain, of freshly cut grass, or in my case, that of the skin.
The smell you perceive as soon as you open a fine bag made of this material, which literally drives me crazy.
Fine Leather is the only leathery Fragrance of those I have tried so far that gave me this splendid sensation.
A slightly fruity opening is immediately dominated by the hints of this wonderful leather, which slowly softens, thanks to the vanilla nuances.
It ended up among my favorite leatherys, exceptional, suitable for every season and moment.

Beginning Yuck, Drydown Wow

The beginning unfortunately starts with an arbitrary mix of fresh notes and strong leather. The apple stands out particularly. For me, the opening is sadly not successful; it feels like everything has just been thrown together without any idea or concept.
Once you get through the first 30 minutes, a wonderful leather scent with amber at its core and a slightly cheeky note remains. The freshness fades, leaving only a bit of the juicy apple behind.
In the drydown, a hint of vanilla, musk, amber, and still leather harmonize perfectly together.
I understand the concept of freshness at the beginning, but the green notes, especially the grapefruit, do not fit in at all.

In my mind, the scent reminds me every time of a leather wallet that develops a patina over time. Similarly, the leather note evolves from a fresh and cheeky variation to a more mature note. Like the wallet, the scent also develops a kind of patina over several hours. It also takes time for the scent, just like real leather, to unfold and present its true beauty!

The longevity is top-notch, and the sillage is also decent. It should be noted that scents on my skin unfortunately do not project/last too strongly. This is definitely one, if not the, longest-lasting scents in my collection that I have ever encountered.
I would recommend applying it at least 20 minutes before leaving the house so that the scent can develop and you can carry the absolutely brilliant composition with you throughout the day.

All in all, the best leather scent I know. It is far from the classic "leather jacket scent."
I have never encountered anything quite like this before.
The 1.5 points deduction in the rating comes solely from the opening of the scent. Without this, it would be a solid 10/10.
The bottle is beautiful, but it tends to leak a bit, and the cap could fit a little more securely, hence a small deduction here as well.
The price-performance ratio is excellent, especially compared to other labels and in terms of longevity.

It is definitely suitable for everyday wear, as it is intense but does not take over the entire room. The name is indeed program!
