I was curious....
and was not disappointed one bit. My very first niche fragrance was Roses Musk and it became true love. For months, I tried some other Montale scents and learned to like or dislike them. And then curiosity arose, can Roses Musk be even better???
Yep, it can. The Intense Roses Musk is a bit deeper, just slightly sweeter but not over the top. The crucial difference to RM is, in my opinion, a significantly better sillage. Really amazing! And yet, people around me don’t drop dead and no one rushes to open the windows for fresh air.
The dosage is absolutely crucial: I’m wearing just a single spray since this morning and I can still perceive a delicious rose in the soft, cozy musk! The RM is already much closer to the skin and more subtle after so many hours than the IRM.

Anyone who knows and likes Roses Musk should definitely give this a try. A strong recommendation! A mega fragrance and price-performance ratio with the amazing H+S simply top.

Noble Rose, Freshly Wrapped
I tried Intense Roses Musk to test another rose fragrance. So far, Weleda Jardin de Vie is in my collection, and it serves as a perfect comparison with Montale.

These are two different interpretations of rose. While Weleda focuses entirely on naturalness, Montale prefers to go to the store for highbred noble roses. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing!
With Weleda's scent, you fall into the wild rose that is in full bloom. The bees are buzzing, and you could almost think that honey is already dripping down. My fingernails are black from gardening, I’m sweaty and exhausted, and soon I’ll treat myself to a cup of tea. Huh? Didn’t it just smell like roses? Hmm, gone again.
With Montale, the blend of jasmine and clean musk creates a different mental imagery. I’m wearing an elegant evening gown, and since I don’t have a date, I buy myself a bouquet of roses. Not cheap gas station roses, but a bouquet where each flower costs at least six euros. They are full, dark red noble roses. Interspersed in the bouquet are small jasmine flowers, and it’s wrapped in crackling foil. At the Japanese restaurant, I order expensive delicacies and put on my high heels. Am I going out? I’m definitely ready. But to a luxury lounge.

Montale Intense Roses Musk is a great, noble rose fragrance that brings the theme out of the garden and into the world of luxury. At least that’s how I perceive it. My mother loves it; she finds it much better than the Weleda scent and said, “This is almost greasy! Is there oil in it?” Hehe, yes, that’s called a 30 percent fragrance oil concentration - at least that’s what I read about Montale.

For me, it’s not the best Montale, but a successful interpretation of rose that could perform a bit better for my taste, especially regarding sillage.

Rose, Rose, Rose!
Intense Rose Musk is my third fragrance from Montale and has once again convinced me of the brand after my previous purchases!

It smells very strongly of rose, although I find that you don't notice it at first; it develops into a very feminine, strong scent that is (typical of Montale) very long-lasting! I mainly smell the rose, but I also find it has fresh nuances, it smells very expensive, not cheap or overly sweet. Those who love rose fragrances that smell very natural and not too sweet will adore this one. I think it can be worn in any season and at any time of day.

Sweet Roses
A beautiful rose in musk.
The fragrance contains floral aromas of roses and white flowers with expressive delicate musk notes and quite mild amber notes. I find it to be somewhat softer than the original. The rose in the original is rather fresh and cool, while here it is warm and sweet, even very sweet.
I envision the image of a confident woman, a bit playful and loving.
I think this is a successful creation by Montale.

La vie en rose
Sometimes you don't find the fragrance - the fragrance finds you. That's exactly how it was with Intense Roses Musk and me.
I was in the perfume store when a customer suddenly approached me: “You have to try this one, I love it!” Said and done - and what can I say? Thank you, unknown fragrance fairy, you have given me a new favorite.
Intense Roses Musk is definitely persistent, it is consistently long-lasting. Even hours later, it still lingers around me as if I had bathed in it. The sillage is superb! The fragrance definitely makes a statement.
Barely had I worn it for the first time when I was approached about the scent. Positive feedback from all ages.

The fragrance has the typical Montale synthetics. But not at all bothersome. The very subtle powdery effect softens it. It doesn't bother me at all. The rose is fresh and lively. No trace of a dusty flower garden!

Intense Roses Musk is for anyone who craves a fresh, radiant, and long-lasting rose that stands out without being overwhelmingly heavy. If you enjoy basking in a fragrance that doesn’t disappear quickly and also earns compliments, you should definitely give this one a sniff!
The scent is anything but inconspicuous.

And who knows - maybe it will soon be recommended in the store by other customers.

Stinky jammy synthetic rose. Nothing else, except the headache I acquired from smelling it.

Attack of the Killer Roses
Man, these are intense
Now I've completely overdone it
And the saffron sweat is pouring out of every pore

Plant sap green rose, meaty, synthetic, and a bit of Earl Grey. Rose, theme hit. But I don't really like it that much.

Fresh, powdery rose. Like a wild rose bush in the morning dew. Refreshingly invigorating yet gentle. Very intense and long-lasting.♡

I like it better than the original. Much nicer and softer. A bit creamier. H/S is top.

Noble, extremely strong rose scent. Absolutely linear - I only perceive rose. But very pleasant. H/S brutal - 3 sprays = Sillage 10h

A thick, rich rose (rose oil) sharpened by extravagant musk.
Sounds expensive, magnificent, devilishly alluring. Something special, very beautiful!

Honey-drizzled rose. Beautiful, but so delicate that you really don't need to wear perfume. Way too weak for me - such a shame.
