Not a Yellow Floral Girl
There is just something about yellow florals that can quickly turn perfumes into a bathroom spray for me. The yellow floral in this fragrance is not necessarily prominent, but it does have a highly pollinated and honeyed effect. I know I would’ve enjoyed this a lot more if it wasn’t for the combination of the yellow floral with the solar note because the warm skin musky opening is nice.

I feel like this perfume is the one that had the most potential for my taste in this release and it almost seems like the one that’s the most linear, yet pleasant. As much as I wanted to own one of the beautiful bottles from this brand, none of them made an impact on me, unfortunately.

Your Skin but Beachier
The part of your vacation where the fresh salt air meets the faded scent of your luxury gardenia and coconut scented suncreen. You're lying in the last rays of daylight but your skin is still warm. This fragrance opens with a beautiful salt and mildly lactonic coconut overlaying a subdued floral and strong skin musk. It is fresh, delicate, and powdery all at once. In the realm of floral/coconut beachy scents, this is a more unique entry that stands out because of the forwardness of the salt, and the strength of the musk, which is very powdery and very clean.

It also lasts so much longer than many of the other skin scents I've tested. I've woken up next day with the musk and ylang still sitting on my skin. It's not for me personally. I have a hard time with ylang ylang, and there's something about the musk that veers into musty for me (though this happens for me with all skin scents.) Overall, it's an uncomplicated beachy musk that is perfectly lovely, if that's what you're looking for.

Sublimity - One For The Beach-Lovers
I go back and forth on a lot of summer fragrances. I've never been one to crave the more trendy coconut and sunscreen scents, because they often became too cloying with the addition of sweet or downright sugary notes (especially this year, 2025, age of the gourmands it seems). I do, however, like solar notes, sea salt notes, and sandalwood, as well as musk depending on the ingredients.

So, it didn't surprise me that Sublimity ended up being my favorite and the easiest to wear out of the sample set I received. When I first tried it in the summer heat, it projected *much* more than expected, to the point that it was almost overwhelming (I suspect that would be the ylang-ylang, a note I'm not as familiar with). I would recommend a light hand when applying this in high heat and high humidity, because even though it is advertised as a "your skin but better" style of fragrance, this one can and will achieve lift-off in the right circumstances. And it certainly lasted, at least 4-6 hours if memory serves me right. Trying it again within the past month, however (it is now October), was a different story. In cooler temperatures, Sublimity does stay close to the skin, but still has rather decent longevity.

Overall, I do very much like Sublimity. It's the one I feel I'd be most likely to purchase (I received my samples through a free giveaway prior to the official release after answering some "fragrance trivia" from one of the brand's founders), with Somewhere But Nowhere being in second place. It layers very well with other summery, beach-friendly scent profiles, such as Lancôme's Idôle Aura or DIME's Malibu Night. Again, easy to wear, reminiscent of sunny coastal vacations, and an all-around pleasant experience.

Coconut milk skin
I'm biased because I absolutely love scents like this, but this is a really nice one. It's very light, softly sweet, and salty. Sometimes perfumes in this genre can be a little bit overwhelming with the floral aspects, but this is really gentle and pleasant. The sandalwood is very mild, almost undetectable. A very safe bet if you generally like this genre.

Surfer Musk
I was lucky enough to test this for free before the brand revealed their line up so thanks to the LORE team for making me a tiny part of their birth.
I will still be fair and critical in this review regardless of how I got the perfume.

With that out of the way...

"Sublimity" is the surfer girl / surfer boy of the "Your skin but better" category, confident, carefree, and warm.
This is a full on unisex beachy fragrance, think sunscreen but without the thick lotion scent, very light, airy and solar, as the notes describe. You will mostly smell the coconut and the solar and skin accords, meanwhile the florals and woods are barely noticeable.

...And that's everything positive i have to say about the fragrance, the smell is really lovely at first but it becomes sort of reminiscent of a coconut scented hair conditioner, which i think certain people would like, i sure don't, and unfortunately like most other skin-scents this won't project a lot, it stays really close to the skin with very little longevity, 2 hours at most.

I see the vision with this one but it just didn't land for me.

very typical beachy solar white floral but with an added aquatic freshness and salty bite, nothing revolutionary but nicely done

Almost-edible sunscreen: banana-cream ylang ylang, coconut milk, a sprinkle of sea salt, and airy solar warmth. For beach babes only!

Simple but lovely beachy skin scent. Projection/longevity changes depending on temperature/weather. Easiest to wear out of the collection.

My least favorite of this line. Came off screechy, almost migraine-inducing. So strong I had to triple bag my sample.
