An Elegant Rose Fragrance
No comment for my first Jo Malone bottle?
Well then, I'll take over.
We are in the year 2019.
Back when the world was still normal.
In November, I strolled from Douglas to Douglas to test fragrances.
Rose & Magnolia was also on my list.
Like many other Jo Malones as well.
In any case, I hadn't dealt with these fragrances until then, and now that was about to change.
I tested all the Jo Malones that were offered and came to the conclusion that I liked this scent the best.
Compared to Red Roses, it is much more elegant, not so intrusive, which is why I even dared to layer it with 1957 by Chanel later on. That worked well too.
But back to the fragrance.
First of all, the bottle is beautiful.
That blue and the label, wow!
But the content is convincing as well.
Magnolia and rose. Towards the end, a bit of patchouli. Never, however, intrusive.
A very harmonious composition that is subtle and stylish at the same time.
The longevity is also absolutely fine, which cannot be said for all Jo Malones. This fragrance is excellent for small but fine occasions where you dress well without overdoing it and where you don’t want to be offensive with a perfume that fills the room.
Rose & Magnolia smells clean, well-groomed, and will never offend.
Such fragrances are also needed.
