I need it back lol

This was love at first sniff for me. Although I typically don’t like very sweet and fruity perfumes, the strawberry bubblegum here is playful and mixes well with the clean and laundry detergent like profile. I think the laundry essence of this perfume is very realistic so you have to keep that in mind. I would also add that there really isn’t anything extraordinary, or super special about it, but it is captivating and comforting and fun. I sampled with several decants and then ended up buying a bottle but I guess I have fallen out of love with it a little bit because the performance is not the best even as someone who oversprays so I sold it. I think it is very much a skin scent and the longevity is good, but if I’m wearing a clean profile, I want the projection to be better, specially on hot days. I would probably be happy with a travel size, but I do really like it and find it to be way way better than Acne Studios.

Flirting at a laundromat

From the moment you spray it, Love Over Matic opens with bright, almost fizzy citrus notes that are vivid. The initial zippiness is soon softened and rounded out with a light clean accord (that reminds me a famous fabric softener for washing machine) and bubble gum note.
It is during the dry-down that the true personality of "Love Over Matic" comes through, settling into a warm, slightly musky, and very modern scent that lingers very nicely smelling in the dry-down.
Love Over Matic is definitely a unisex fragrance (more feminine for me) and appeals to individuals who enjoy scents that are fresh yet interesting. It is not a loud scent, but it is noticeable and has excellent longevity, which makes it suitable for both daytime wear and evening events.

A grower, not a shower

I got a sample of this perfume and at first thought it was nothing really special. It's an aldehydic laundry skin-scent with a soft sweetness.
At first spray I thought it was really plain and ordinary, but with time I grew to really enjoy it.
It initially opens with a fresh laundered, soft, and a fuzzy almost 'dryer lint' sort of smell.
But after having it on for a couple of hours the fun bubble-gumminess comes through. It's definitely a subtle, dry, bazooka-joe type of bubblegum rather than a syrupy, ultra-sweet, candied type of scent you'd expect from a bubblegum fragrance.
It's the most elevated laundry scent I've smelled and also the most elevated bubblegum scent I've smelled.
Perfectly unisex. I'm a male and i wore this to jiujitsu practice, where people are up close and personal, and it didn't feel overly distracting or thick. I think people though my clothes were just fresh out of the dryer or something. Also, with the heat of the body, it really bloomed into that bubblegum semi-sweetness. It's a perfect everyday sort of scent.

What Acne and Malle Wanted but Couldn’t Achieve
