Through The Dark Missing Parfum 2024

When I first smelt this, I was not a fan, but I’ve grown to love it. This scent is very sweet, citrus, and a little Smokey and resinous. To me this just smells like a root beer with a little chocolate in it. This is a must in my collection. My only issue is that the bottle is terrible, the concrete gets everywhere, and taking off the cap can be a nightmare. Nonetheless, this still smells great, and I am pleasantly shocked by how much I enjoy it. I did not think I would like it.

Through the dark is a tart smoky slightly sweet blood orange scent. This is the first release by missing parfums and it’s definitely my taste. The fragrance opens up with a tart blood orange scent with a light sweetness it reminds me of crush smarties candies but not as sweet. As it develops the woody rum co2 starts to take off with a light smoky nuance to it. Shortly after the rum starts to mix perfectly with a vanilla absolute and coconut note that is perfect for the tart blood orange at the beginning l. Finally the fragrance dries down to a mysore sandalwood and tobacco tincture that gives it a perfect not over bearing tobacco scent that comes off more woody like a wood barrel aging rum. The fragrance lasts about 10 hours over all I give it a 9/10. This is my experience with bottle 3/15. My only complaint is I don’t have more and will never have more. The bottle is also a stand out aspect of this release weighing in at 3 pounds I also got to customize my cap to what I thought was appropriate based off the notes the bottle and cap are both covered my a layer of concrete giving it the shape it has.
