Iris petals floating in a flute of champagne.
How many iris perfumes can one woman have? As many as she damn pleases! Pink Champagne opens with a burst of fizzy citrus and berries, a pop of a champagne bottle which is poured into a tall flute. Sprinkle some iris petals, a well-ripened fig and a quarter teaspoon of salt, and you've got yourself an awesome pink champagne cocktail. This is not a sweet gourmand fragrance, nor a fruity scent by any means. The salty iris petals take over and soften into an elegant, misty spray that reminds me of perfumed seawater and sunshine.
This is what I was hoping III-I L'Attesa would be like, but in that one the champagne has a bitter, acerbic edge that is not pleasing to the senses. I actually regret not buying a bigger bottle, but not surprisingly, it was sold out except for one last 10ml vial. I just wish MITH would start selling online, because it`s a bit hard waiting for the next trip to Bangkok to get these.
