Nº14 Whipped Almond Mix:Bar 2022 Eau de Parfum

Love this scent! A cozy, lactonic perfume. Simple, but well crafted. I love this for house days, I feel like it smells so comforting and homey. It's also really nice for layering with other scents to add a creamy warmth to them.

My only issue is that when it first goes on it smells a little synthetic. That faded after 15 minutes or so though, and then I get the creamy, almond goodness for 6 - 7 hours.

For the price, this is an absolute winner!

One of my favorite scents ever (and my partner's fave on me). It's creamy with sweet almond and lactonic notes. There's just a hint of floral that's weaved through grounded by a note of something woody. Truly a perfect cozy scent to spray after a shower, before bed, or when going out. It's girly and feminine without feeling immature or reminiscent of middle school locker rooms. It also isn't too deep or cloying. The lightness prevents the sweetness from feeling suffocating.

I bought a back up bottle too lol.

This scent is a genuinely divine look into the dreams of a beloved toy maker, one who spreads joy through the town he blesses with his presence. It's sweet, comforting, and it has such a relaxed but warm overtone that makes it a simply divine fragrance. Almonds are heavy in this, but not the bitter kind, as you'd imagine - but just underneath is the scent of childhood wishes and memories alike. Perhaps the wish to return to a specific memory. Not quite the piney cinnamon of December, maybe early January. The children who celebrate their gift-giving holidays have all of their delightful toys spread around the home, the cakes have been eaten up, all that remains is the lovely memory of the depths of December snow.

From this perfume, I get a lovely almond treat that is just too good to eat. True to the name, Whipped Almond smells like the whipped cream my mother makes when we have pancakes deep in the wintertime. She mixes in an almond extract that livens up the flavor and smells like heaven to my nose. I think it may be one of my favorite almond scents I've ever had the pleasure of sniffing. I do have qualms with the longevity, but I try to think of that in a less negative way. Just like the memories of childhood, this perfume is fleeting. It's perfect to spray on my pillow after a hard day, because the scent lingers in the fibers and I can almost smell it in my dreams.

I wouldn't call Whipped Almond unique. I wouldn't even call it groundbreaking. But to the right person, it can smell like the things that made you the happiest.

I was excited to try this because I heard it was a good dupe for the Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa '62 body spray and lasts long since it’s a perfume. However, this didn’t last long at long and the scent was vary faint / dissipated quickly after application. It’s a $20 perfume and the Sol de Janeiro sprays are about $26 - at that price point, the low quality from Mix Bar doesn’t make me feel like I’m saving any money and I’d recommend just paying the extra to get the real deal if you love the Sol de Janeiro scent.

I wish this were more of a creamy scent than an Iris scent. I can't really smell the milk but maybe it's my nose. It is a nice almond sandalwood but I find it a bit powdery for my liking. The dry down is a lot more of a gentle almond gourmand, it just takes a while for the florals to fade away.

The silage is weak but I think that's what makes this office safe, but it doesn't last too long. It isn't an overbearing scent but it still has it's uniqueness. I don't know if I would recommend this scent but the bottle is pretty and I would consider Nº14 Whipped Almond Eau de Parfum worth it for it's price range.
