Make Me A Musky Man, Man Musk!
Oof, this one is really good… the bergamot and sage are perfectly balanced in the opening, simultaneously showing the best qualities of each. The oud and oakmoss also present from the very first sniff, evident of the woody, mossy and slightly spicy masterpiece below…
A little creamy from the sandalwood, smoky from the muhuhu, a tad bit animalic from the oud, green, herbal and musky from the sage, patchouli, vetiver and other “green herbs” mentioned, mossy, of course, from the oakmoss… This thing’s got a lot going on! It does evoke some very nice deep forest/jungle imagery. I’m not normally a “fresh spicy” guy, which I’d personally categorize this as, but the woods, moss and juicy bergamot in the beginning here are good enough to keep bringing me back. Great stuff!
Sillage intimate to moderate, longevity high, competitively priced as far as attars go.
