Wow! Baby, powder, lightness and happiness

As a mother of three, baby and happiness don't quite go together for me. It was a challenging and tough time, this baby phase. But this fragrance simply evokes good feelings of love and security for me. I see baby wipes floating in the air, a nursery flooded with light with a white crib, powdered cloud dust in the fresh air...hmmmm...ah.... it's soooo beautiful here!!! The scent smells lemony-powdery-warm-soft-vanilla-fluffy....the madness!!! Much better than teint de neige or saovissima or puro talco or talco delicato etc. This one is different: it has a warming power and a refreshing lightness at the same time. It is unique.

Fluffy clouds of powder...

This is perfect for the name and bottle, it just smells like a pink powder puff. But with a hint of creaminess and fluffiness to round it out, so it doesn't turn dusty and dry. The opening reminds me a little bit of Guerlain L'Instant Magic and the Hipp baby care line, even though both are very almondy and this doesn't have an almond note officially.
Later it dries down to a floral powder of iris, vanilla and violet. They're all equally noticeable. The saffron is only a subtle accent, and it's warm, so if you sometimes find saffron notes too harsh, you don't need to worry about that here.

This is a beautiful scent, but I have one small problem with it. It's a super oily extrait and has a weirdly dank undertone on me for the 30-40 minutes between the opening and the drydown. Just as long as the oil film is still wet, after it's dry it's wonderful. I tried it on a cotton pad and there it doesn't have this issue, so it's likely just a skin type problem. Maybe it's better dabbed than sprayed, or it's more suited to drier skin. It lasts ages, which is a huge plus for notoriously "perfume eating" dry skin types, too.
