Synthetic Chemical mess
Stay away from this one cause it really is a chemical mess, might even be dangerous for your health.
I think they did the following:
They took all the leftover chemical aroma's, mixed them all together, put it in bottles without smelling and testing it and that is how Khateer came into being.
It even is hilariously ironic because Khateer meens dangerous in Arabic if i am not mistaken.
This is the worst smelling fragrance i have ever smelled in my entire life.
Swiss Arabian should fire the people who created and approved of this.
Or...... i might have gotten a bad bottle (bought it new though).
Don't know what to do with it, guess i have to throw it away cause i don't want this dangerous stuff to maybe damage anyone's health.
People reading this might think i am exaggerating but really, i am not.
My bottle looks different though, the transparent one i have.

It can still get better...
The test of Ajmal Moattaq already impressed me greatly, but after multiple tests, I noticed nuances that bothered me. Oud is not quite as dominant in Khateer, but it is processed more pleasantly. Additional animalistic nuances are missing; nothing scratches or bites. However, Oud is still in the foreground and is not suppressed by other notes. The scent feels surprisingly "fresh" and light - I can't imagine that the top note actually consists of amber notes. Rather something floral-citrusy, but by no means feminine. Over time, the fragrance becomes spicy-woody with slightly ambratic notes, without ever really becoming sweet. The Oud provides a pleasantly distinctive (not animalistic) contrast to floral and soft notes, making the scent quite masculine, but certainly also unisex-wearable.

The test only confirms to me that when it comes to Oud scents, one is simply looking in the wrong place in Western perfumery. The only scent I know of is Ambre Dore, which, to my knowledge, was also intended for the Arab market. Anyone who wants to smell somewhat authentic Oud scents must search among the original oriental fragrances.

A truly wonderful scent that is almost a bit too agreeable for me. It is almost suitable as a signature scent. For me, the dangerous one could indeed be a bit more dangerous :)
