This, alongside imagination, and a good few of its dupes, smell like soap. Inception on skin is, nice, its a clean air soap smell, and the tea note is there... but it has a bitter sort of, cardboardy note that lingers for a little bit, its sillage is, poor, but thats not a bad things for a fragrance like this, the tea note isnt black tea, more like, bitterness and green notes of tea, i find people ive asked to test it will go anosmic to it quickly.

Imagination is ridiculously over priced and frankly over rated, i would buy this before a bottle of imagination 1000 times over.

Its a clean, fresh, soap smell, SOAP, like a bar of dove. If you want to smell like SOAP, its good, if you want to smell like the poems people write about imagination, keep looking, I know I am.

Not a dupe person, but my partner doesn’t mind wearing them to his blue collar job. We really like how soapy, clean, and fresh it is for a hot hard day of work, BUT performance isn’t the best. It is a good alternative of the OG for the price, but it performs like its price.. not a complete disappointment as it smells nice and similar enough in the air.

Blind bought this, Empire, Reflection, and Slow Living after all the hype of the Mykonos house on TikTok and I gotta be honest... only Reflection and Slow Living is worth it imo. Longevity and sillage are both solid, but something in this fragrance that just smells off and it doesn't go away until it completely dries down. I've had a similar experience with Empire as well, and I thought maybe if I let both of them settle and mature it would improve, but it still smells the same after sitting for over a month. Once it dries down though it's fine and smells pretty close to Imagination. For the money, I would say Marwa is better value and both smell close to Imagination on the dry down.

This scent is great, I'll start with that. It has a medium ~maybe 3 foot projection on me, but that's perfect. By nature, this scent isn't overwhelming and that's exactly how it should be.

As for HOW it smells, it smells exactly like - you guessed it - Imagination. Everyone and their mother knows this scent profile by now, you either adore it or think it's the blandest thing on the planet. I would say it's a 90-95% similarity, but those are arbitrary numbers that only matter to me and my nose. Regardless, it is VERY close. It has a magic that the dupes I own lack. I think it's the prominent tea note, either way it's close enough to fool the everyday nose. Performance is solid on me as well - I get about 5-6 hours of projection and another few of a skin scent before it's gone completely. That performance is perfect, it never overstays its welcome. It's also WAY stronger than Game Of Spades - Fullhouse, which maybe lasts 4 hours MAX on me, and that's if I overspray.

Here comes the crux of my review - my problem with this fragrance. Mykonos spent so much on advertising and getting their paws on all the most popular tiktok influencers, but they continue to produce a VERY limited quantity every time they drop. They clearly chose quality over quantity here (insert title card). Don't get me wrong, I'm glad this scent is of a high quality. But how is the average joe supposed to get their hands on this? These things sell out in an instant. I was lucky enough to find someone selling their 50ml bottle locally. Velixir follows this exact same procedure, maybe worse. Buy out tiktok influencers to hype your brand into oblivion, getting everyone and their mother excited to buy, then make a handful of them and wait another few months before repeating the process. It's infuriating. Lets make good scents AND make a lot of them, or at least enough to fill the demand that YOU manufactured. Nobody spends as much on advertising as these brands do, other than maybe some designers getting their supa hot sexy celebs to mog the camera for their bottle.

I'm ranting. This is good, I highly recommend it if you can find it. If.

If you want to pay a minimal amount of the price of LV Imagination, this might be one of the best options.

It’s pretty close to the original LV and is a fresh citrus sommer fragrance.

That being said, the longevity could and should be a little better. You need a good amount of sprays to have it performing for a good amount of time. If I want to wear it constantly over a hot day, I need to respray a couple of times.
But for this price it is kind off alright.

Overall very fresh, citrus lime sommer scent, which gives a Citrus Ice vibe.
