Discovery
I don't know how I came across the N.C.P. brand, but I am very happy about it. I was able to test almost all fragrances and each one is special in its own way
Perhaps first to the facts:
N.C.P. is a Swedish house founded by the actress Noomi Rapace. All fragrances are unisex and have few ingredients to make it easy to layer the fragrances among themselves.
To the fragrance:
Although coffee is not in the top note, it is what I perceive immediately, followed by lavender. I personally don't smell lemon, but I smell cocoa, which is not mentioned at all. I suppose it's the mixture of coffee, leather and sandalwood.
Tonka bean, caramel and musk join in and mix together.
It is a little bit like the lights go on one after the other and at the end the whole room is illuminated. So one after the other I take the ingredients, which unite quite fast to a harmonious whole I perceive the fragrance as warm, pleasant and not overloaded. It connects with my skin and I don't feel disguised, but as if the fragrance is a part of me.
I almost didn't test Tonka Bean & Moka, because I assumed, because of coffee, tonka bean and caramel, that a sweet gourmand was blowing towards me, but the scent is unisex, not too sweet and stays relatively close to the skin.
