Tom Ford Oud Wood opening, creamy soft drydown
I am surprised that this truly magnificent fragrance has not yet received a dedication.
Right upon spraying, I got brief Tom Ford Oud Wood vibes in the form of a fresh, piercing patchouli/cardamom opening that would certainly be perceived as sharp by untrained noses.
As it develops, saffron joins in and then transitions into a creamy, truly beautiful musk, amber, and oud drydown.
From here, the fragrance has little in common with Oud Wood and leaves it cold behind.
Very high-quality scent, good sillage and longevity. The bottle and sprayer are beautifully crafted. The 15ml bottle is perfect for freezing (also here a good sprayer and bottle).
