Classy, Heady, and Luxurious
For me, this is what a true French perfume should be... Smooth, feminine, and true to its characteristics down to the last whiff.

This is such a sweet perfume that, if done wrong, it could have been cloying like BS Fantasy or Guerlain Insolence EDT. But the perfumer Karine Chevallier blended this with such mastery and obviously used such quality ingredients that it can stand on the edge of over-the-top sweetness and never fall off to the cloying side.

It opens with a burst of blackberry, passion fruit, and black currants. On my skin, all of the fruits were well balanced. I could pick out each of them but they were all present with equal strength (Amazing... How DO they do that??)

Top notes lingered longer than any perfume I’ve tested. In about 30 minutes, the peach, cherry, and true jasmine scent kicked in. The peach, cherry, and orange flower were well blended. None of them really stood out; rather played a "side-kick" role. So the star of the show (at least on my skin) was the sweet fruity jasmine at the heart phase.

The dry down was peachy vanilla mixed with honey that had a milky quality. I felt like I was smelling fruits dipped in warm almond milk with honey.

Sillage: Excellent! I left a faint trail of gourmand fruits everywhere I went.

Staying power: Excellent! 6-8 hours.

She had, mmm, mmm, kisses sweeter than wine...
Bouche Baie has been in my collection for a while now, and I used it occasionally in winter; it’s so wonderfully cozy. But it is so much more.

Fruity, yes, but with something soft and sweet that awakens the desire to nibble. Even though the pyramid lists many fruits and only a few flowers, and speaks of vanilla, honey, and almond in the base - I perceive Bouche Baie differently.

Fruity, yes, but more reminiscent of apricots, peaches, cherries, and passion fruits, rather than sour berries.
The delicate flowers support this soft fruity impression, and all the while, there is this fine, tempting nougat note that makes the vanilla very soft and not dominant, the honey sweet but not sticky.

The whole composition has a creaminess, like that of an incredibly delicious tart. I think of puff pastry with a thin, light layer of nougat, on which fine, soft, delicious fruits are piled in honey-vanilla cream. On top sits an almond.

The longevity is enormous, and yet the sillage is fine and discreet. There’s no big punch that hits you in the face, excuse me, nose.

I recently read about a Spanish pastry chef who develops dreamy desserts and has now also released fragrances to match the desserts. This could have been the motivation for Bouche Baie as well. The most delicious dessert scent I have smelled so far.

And above all, I can nibble on it - olfactorily speaking, of course - as often as I like, without it affecting my figure. ;-))

Bouche Baie combines the classic fruit salad scent with the darkness of an 80s Gothic perfume.
The top note, which frankly knocks you off your feet, smells like gummy bears soaked in alcohol with blackcurrant jam and quickly gives way to an overwhelming surge of various fruity associations, none of which can be distinctly pinpointed. The fruits here seem distorted. Raspberry-cherry, peach-melon, and orange-apples bombard me. Nez a Nez has developed a kind of Frankenstein fruit here - none of it smells remotely natural, though it is familiar. It’s as if you mixed a typical Escada summer fragrance with Charogne by Etat Libre d'Orange. Honey makes its way through the colorful chaos, while a dirty vanilla and smoldering rubbery coconut, reminiscent of rancid sunscreen, flip everything upside down, whip it together, and make it feel heavier and heavier. The idea is not uninteresting, but the scent cannot decide whether it wants to be cheerfully charming or provocatively bold. One thing is for sure: Sympathetic or even erotic is something else! I seriously wonder if this perfume is meant to be a parody of fruity synthetic scents.
Bouche Baie is chaos. Bouche Baie is dissonant. Bouche Baie is pure synthetic. And Bouche Baie is above all one thing: Really creepy.
Suspected target audience: The band members of "Latexxx Teens". A mix of bubblegum trash and glitter goth.
All in all, quite an interesting tastelessness.

sweet little fruit
Immediately after spraying, it is extremely fruity and sweet. I find it quite artificial. After that, the jasmine pushes its way into my nose, only to let the cherry take the lead shortly after. I am still undecided whether I like it. It is interesting...or just sweet? I keep sniffing my wrist.

To be continued...I am waiting for the base. :)

At first, it’s more liqueur-fruity, but the vanilla comes through quickly. Unfortunately, it’s a bit musty and very sweet.

A colorful fruit salad nestled in delicate vanilla cream, I don't smell any flowers, just sweet bubblegum. It doesn't excite me, I'm missing the edges.

Extremely sweet, extremely berry-like, totally over the top, but somehow I think it’s great, so endearingly crazy - happy go lucky!
