If you have always been looking for a successor to the discontinued lime blossom scent "Tilleul" by d'Orsay, you have come to the right place. Sillage and durability is an improvement, I find it a little less strictly lime scented, but more flowery.
But now for the scent. It starts with citrus freshness, then follows a lot of lime blossom. Have you ever sat under a linden tree in bloom, surrounded by bees? Even the busy little bees love these blossoms and each of us has surely tried lime blossom honey. Dried lime blossoms are also good as a tea to calm down and relieve coughs, and it is also diaphoretic for feverish infections. A very unique taste and smell as honey, tea and also in perfumes. The smell always reminds me of August and the hay harvest. This green, slightly dry smell, when hay is shining to dry from the sun, lies on our meadows.
The contained beeswax in "Tilia" is harmonious for me, just as the bees buzz around the tree as a bee pasture, it just fits. ( Was also contained in the adjusted "Tilleul" ) After some time the scent becomes softer and more flowery with freesias and rose blossoms, which takes away the dry green a bit. I cannot smell the listed jasmine.
