Where is the mushroom?
When I first read about this perfume, I really wanted to test it as the idea about mushroom scent sounds really original. I was quite disappointed, when I was flying via Krakow and the duty free had all the testers from Bohoboco, except this one. So I ordered a sample and man, what a nice perfume!
It starts with a lovely herbal and flowery notes. I cannot really distinguish the flowers (although they are quite prominent), but I can clearly get the thyme, tiny bit of fresh grapefruit and the funkiness of the hemp note - fairly distinguishable, but not overly strong. Also the juicy sweet blackcurrant is noticeable. And in the base, I'm picking saltiness of the marine notes and a little bit of patchouli. Opening is definitely 10/10 for me.
As the scent starts to dry down, first to disappear is the grapefruit and the juicy notes, the scent profile stays fairly similar as in the opening for about 60-90min and then the other notes start to disappear and probably 4 hrs into it, what remains is salty/marine patchouli, a little bit flowery soft scent. It reminds me of a warm summer day, when you are sweating a little bit (not stinky sweat, it is still very pleasant).
I was able to detect it even 12 hrs after spraying, but at that point it is very different from the opening. Basically just salty, sweaty patchouli. This is why I have rated the scent profile and longevity as I did.
So what happened to the mushroom? I imagine, it would smell earthy, damp, maybe a bit mossy, but i have not picked anything like it. The scent is very nice green, herbal, flowery, ideal for the summer. It is playful, very slightly leaning to feminine side.
