Well-Tempered Shower Gel Freshness
Here, a blind purchase was quite obvious. I often and gladly wear Dutti's clothing - a fundamental sympathy for the brand, even without knowing their fragrances - existed.
Perfumes with mint rank high among my preferences, and the manufacturer Puig usually promises good quality and comparatively little "synthetic" content. Also, the "Sport" attribute does not fundamentally repel me; on the contrary: Give me citrusy, green, and light any day. Just not aquatic!
And unfortunately, "Dutti Sport" is indeed aquatic. The fragrance twin indications on various perfume sites already suggested it, but it was worth a try. After all, it is a gentle aquatic, with a very slight coolness and a barely perceptible trace of Calone wafting in the background.
I can hardly distinguish individual fragrance notes, nor do I notice a fragrance development that deserves that name. Pleasant, clean freshness from beginning to end, with remarkable longevity and pleasantly unobtrusive sillage. Yes, it smells very similar to "Polo Sport" - for me even "better," as it is less loud, less youthful, and appears more natural (or less synthetic). In fact, Puig lives up to its reputation here as well. And at very advantageous prices.
Despite all this, I simply do not like to wear aquatics, but a differentiated judgment free of any prejudices is benevolent. I think "Dutti Sport" can confidently be classified as a hidden gem aquatic. Cool Water is one extreme, and over Polo Sport and Aqua Quorum, you land at JF Floris or this one here.
