Universally Likable

Boss Bottled is quite often mentioned in forums as being an extremely sexy fragrance for men and adored by many women.

Of course I was very eager to try it. Boss Bottled is an extremely pleasant and likable fragrance. Even the sales assistant was quick to agree and state that this fragrance was by far her favourite men's cologne.

I won't go so far as to say it's my favourite, however I do like it, very much.

Although it is primarily spicy, citrusy and a little sweet, Boss Bottled smells very refreshing and clean to my nose. The scent is masculine, however I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a woman wearing this fragrance.

Although the notes listed as part of the composition look promisingly unique, I can't say that it's very different from anything else. Overall, Boss Bottled is a pleasantly wearable fragrance with only a subtle hint of sexiness.

The lasting strength is quite good, the sillage being rather intimate and inoffensive. Personally I enjoy this fragrance from afar and up close. The spicy-woodsy quality is truly enchanting in a sense and the muskiness of the drydown makes this fragrance quite natural smelling. In my opinion, this fragrance should be an essential part of any man's fragrance wardrobe. It's a great go-to scent.

Boss Bottled – The Minute Man

I regard Boss Bottled as the "minute man" of fragrances, totally planned and trimmed to success. Because of this it is a fragrance, which successful men (or wannebees) like to use. To my opinion, it is THE office fragrance, quite pleasant and refreshing. The intensity is exactly to the point, enough to be recognized but not too much to be regarded as intrusive.
Bottled starts with a nice and in this combination rather unique fruity note and contains an inspiring apple note as the "trademark", which is wrapped into some citrus notes. I cannot really discern the citrus notes, but there is also at least a note of geranium as well as some prune. After some minutes, the prune appears to get stronger.
Later the fruitiness gets support by some more woody notes and cinnamon.
The basenote is smooth and sweet with woody notes and vanilla and reminds only remotely of fruits and apples.
On my skin Bottled lasts in this sequence for a complete office day.
As I am spending a lot of time at the office, I like to wear it to this purpose but almost never on other occasions.

BOSS BOTTLED

Sensual. Eccentric. Apple. Musk”

This scent is connected to a memory for me.

I smell this and am reminded of my summers in Portugal in the mid-late 90s. One of my cousins wore this scent and I was never able to figure out what it was until quite recently. For this reason I’m booking this as a “Classic”.

I have heard people refer to this as an apple pie scent. I get the apple part but it’s not a tasty apple to my nose. It has something in it that grabs your nose and makes you think “I’ve smelled something like this before but this is done differently.” And the truth is, if you’re like me, you have smelled this before. It smells like the rebellious brother of YSL pour homme. Whereas YSL is sweeter, Boss is more rebellious I’d say but stays within the family.

9/10 - A sentimental Classic juice that can be had for under $50. This is a must smell for anyone that wants to own a variety of fragrances.

Update:
I just had to say a little more now that it’s cooling off and this juice is (imho) in it’s prime element. You’ve probably worn or heard of colognes that exude confidence. I can’t tell you how much confidence this brings me when I wear it- especially at work. Also I’ve had time to think what I’m getting that tweaks the apple pie part of the scent and I think I’ve come up with it- lipstick! Hear me out on this because I think you’ll be on board. The scent seems to complement a variety of women’s fragrances quite well. For example, when you go out with your significant other, you may notice that her fragrance and yours will combine for a rather sensual scent bubble when you’re wearing this. Anyway that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Enveloping

Perfect match for a suit with a contemporary cut. Young at heart, urbane, confident, intelligent, audacious, sophisticated. I think this perfume is very well developed, assertive, hardly bothersome.

I feel a lot of cinnamon, apple, moss, cedar and geranium. It's not a refreshing scent but it's not heavy. It has a perfume that feels velvety and slightly spicy.

It sets well and exudes moderately, it's polished without being dull or bland. It's so well done that it was the inspiration for a bunch after it. Unfortunately it was trivialized but I still think it's excellent.

A delicious scent to smell. I also think it's sexy but it's a restrained and manly sexy. I like it!
