Enigmatic Aura Reinvēnted 2025

This fragrance has a strong saffron and masculine character. It is not my favorite, but I understand why some people like it. The saffron is earthy and powerful, and the aura is intense, so you can smell it everywhere. For me, however, it is minus aura. You have to give it credit for being such a strong fragrance, something you do not often find and that is unique.

Enigmatic Aura appears in its scent character just as shifting as the colors and shapes in the cap. The fragrance plays with light and dark, with sleepy and awake.

For me, it is toxic, intoxicating, and alluring. I truly love it! So much that I dedicated a post to it on Instagram. Here, I want to express in words how I perceive and feel the scent.

! In the end, however, I definitely want to share the comments from my fellow humans. Because they are something else!

Indian spikenard and nagarmotha provide spicy, earthy, deep notes. It has something of wet patchouli and wet earth.
Dark woods and saffron add something dark, mysterious.
I also get some kind of coldness. A sort of camphor!

The drydown is fascinating. I smelled this fragrance on my sweater two days later, and it was all over for me - mysterious and euphoric. You can't stop smelling and feeling.

This scent truly has something calming and yet enchanting. That’s why, for me, it is indeed more aura than perfume! Like a mist to dive into.

By the way, Enigmatic Aura is limited - there are only 1500 pieces worldwide. I have never smelled anything like it before and am totally proud to have this treasure in my collection.
It is simply unique and special to me.

However, since I passionately wear perfume everywhere and I am employed, the fragrances are sometimes also tested at work and, of course, in my free time. And unfortunately, that doesn’t always go over well!
Enigmatic Aura unfortunately did not go over well at all!
I want to list the most striking comments here:

Sister: “Ew, smells like shoe polish!”

Man: “You smell like a sheepskin!”

Brother-in-law: “Oh, I find it very interesting. Smells like when you blow out a candle”

Female colleague (in the changing room): “Oh, it smells interesting in here today! Like agriculture”

Female colleague: “No, I don’t like your scent today. What does it smell like?!”

Boss: “The cream you have there smells so rancid... oh my God, no, YOU smell that way! Eww, you smell totally rancid. Why do you smell like that?!”
Boss after a few minutes: “Your perfume also smells like shoe polish!”

Ah, I love it. Okay, the fragrance will no longer be worn at work! That was quite uncomfortable for me!

Enigmatic Aura has a truly fitting name, in my opinion. This fragrance indeed possesses a mysterious aura.
This scent has very clear edges and contours. It will definitely not appeal to everyone. Earthy, woody, spicy, smoky are attributes that describe it. A felt note of oud is also present. It has all these facets that can be jarring, yet it also possesses something attractive, almost addictive.

I find the fragrance to be quite linear over time. I don't experience constant changes here. At first, it radiates extremely and is simply dominant in every respect.
Over time, it becomes a bit milder, and towards the end, it gains a touch of sweetness, but noticeably subtle. Otherwise, the basic structure simply remains intact.

The longevity on my skin is about eight hours.
The sillage is also great.
In the initial phase, I even perceive the scent as very strongly projecting. This suddenly becomes less and more subtle over time.
Unisex wearable? Certainly, yes.
However, I think it works better in the men's world, and generally, men will likely prefer this fragrance.

What surprised me - I had the association of plastic, Styrofoam, wall paint with the first sniff. Somehow the scent reminds me of something in that direction (craft, painter), but I can't quite put my finger on what exactly.

It develops very woody & green, slightly earthy. But completely different than expected. Super unexpected - somehow interesting; but I wouldn't want to smell like that.

I search in vain for vanilla as it progresses. Musk comes through better in the dry down. I can imagine that it could work well layered, but on its own, it is very special. Definitely not a blind buy!
