Attractive Scent for Him and Her

I first noticed the fragrance on a customer and immediately asked her about it. Until then, I had no idea that Retterspitz makes fragrances.
But this one captivated me right away. It is a strong, resinous scent, and the juniper comes through all the time. I find that the fragrance radiates an attractive self-confidence.
My fragrances are very diverse. From sweet to floral, feminine. But on some days, it has to be a strong, masculine scent for me. For my taste, the sillage could be more intense, but I’m probably a bit extreme in that regard.
Juniper is a fragrance that grabs me under the chin and says: "Chin up, eyes straight ahead, today is our day!"

Green-Spicy Category Missed

Rather a perfume-like but not complex/heavy unisex scent.

At the center are the almost fruity flowers, herbal notes come through only slightly, basil is dull and sweetened, instead of green and herbal.

This is how tastefully arranged department stores for women's fashion smell, but not someone looking for the (elegant) herb-resin-forest pharmacy in a bottle.
I am currently searching in vain for the juniper during this autumn season.

What remains is a scent note that reminds me of mildly creamy perfume-rhubarb. Quite unexpectedly.

At least it remains unsporty and comes without too much Iso Super-E molecule stuff. Rather a scent for candles / diffusers.

When a German family business touts tradition and modernity, one might be a bit skeptical, as it often turns out to be a cheap marketing promise aimed at attracting a younger clientele while not alienating the older one. However, looking at the product range of this 120-year-old traditional brand in remedies, medical cosmetics, and skin and body care, it quickly becomes clear that this family business places value on solid tradition while also connecting to contemporary cosmetic and aesthetic standards. The fact that a fragrance now rounds out the portfolio is, of course, expected and logical in the age of niche products, but it could easily have led to a superficial attempt to cater: "By the way, we also have a fragrance on offer." Here, however, a bold innovation has led to a genuinely new concept that bridges body and room fragrance, between wearable and innovative. Those who have a strong aversion to the aromatherapy products sold in organic stores might want to stop reading now. I like it. I enjoy going to eco-supermarkets just because they smell so good. Of course, I shop there too.
Juniper delivers on its promise: Juniper means "Wacholder" in German, and it certainly smells like it here. However, those who fear it will be very bitter, very spicy, or very herbal-green can rest assured to give it a try. The fragrance has a bright, almost citrusy hesperidic accent, even if there are no hesperidins in Juniper. Basil remains pleasantly bright green and does not lean towards the spicy-herbal side. The flowers bloom in the background, creating a harmonious framework, but are hardly identifiable. The tree resin is incorporated as a very light, subtle conifer resin and does not tend towards the dark, heavy resin: very green, very fresh, a bit woody and resinous.
I am almost a little enthusiastic.
