A day full of surprises
You can criticize this Giorno for a number of things, but at least not for being boring. It starts off very earthy, rough and probably due to the jasmine, with a slight fecal note. I'm afraid that most people will probably lie down again and lose interest in Giorno.
If you are a little more patient, you will soon experience a slowly budding, more delicate floral bouquet with smoother jasmine and other floral and spicy notes. A much softer patchouli than at the beginning is layered on top. This comes off really splendidly, provided you are not averse to patchouli, which seems to undergo a proper metamorphosis from earthy to fluffy here.
In between, there are flashes of resinous and fresh nuances, at times you could be forgiven for thinking that something minty has sneaked in. The suspicion also arises that ambroxan or something similar is also present here, albeit quite discreetly, but used quite skillfully.
In the late base, it becomes much calmer and softer. And thus absolutely contrary to the beginning. Although patchouli with the synthetic addition still sets the tone, amber and a little musk also dare to have their say.
I wouldn't have been mad if the durability and projection were a little more intense, but it's enough for normal use.
It would just be a pity if many people were to give up completely after the first few minutes and miss out on the pleasant progression. You won't miss out on a full day of fragrance, but at least a few pleasant olfactory hours.
