Lovely orange
The Luxury Collection by Christian Richard is a line exclusively created by Distimex from France for the Cologne niche perfumery "Perfume History". If you don't know it yet, you can look forward to it when the shops are allowed to open again (hopefully soon). Here, all kinds of niche fragrances are offered very decoratively and invite you to get to know them. Alternatively, you can of course order online - but those who do not know the creations might be animated by the descriptions.
The flacons look not only quite valuable, but also lie full in the hand and convince with slightly outward curved smooth surfaces as well as solid lid. As far as the optical impressions ... olfactorically, "Storia d'Amore" with 35% fragrance concentration is an eau de parfum with a neat orange focus. Nice and juicy, but not at all monotonous or ordinary. The bit of moss is probably less tonangebend, however, just the combination with amber acts absolutely mysterious.
One could almost think, the orange was a little caramelized, so not simply sweet, but equipped with a fine lovely sophistication. And to the accompanying tree, I imagine the citrus in restrained measure with a little green in between. Yet the ingredients seem relatively natural - not at all overdone, but could imagine there's a bit more to it than officially stated.
In the drydown, there's hardly anything left to smell of the orange, but there's all the more of the sweetish amber. I think about whether there is not possibly a pinch of vanilla reingeraten, because the fragrance is getting creamier towards the end.
I remember my mother preparing a big bowl of fruit salad every now and then. As a counterpoint, she made it whipped cream with a little vanilla sugar - exactly this flavor combination comes to mind here.
So if you like the special orange scent, not oversweet and with delicate creamy caramel to vanilla amber touch, which should come here fully to his taste.
