Pride My * Oud for everyday life
After 'Pure Oudi', which was great for my nose, I would describe myself as such ... i like oud very much, from subtle to strong-animalic ... i perceive the scent in many places and always turn my nose in the direction of the scent ... so peculiar.
I own numerous fragrances that contain the scent of oud (if you can trust the information).
So after the fresh-sweet 'Pride' and the even sweeter aromatic 'Pride Intense', I also had to have 'Pride My Oud' by Rue Broca.
Spices, incense, oud ... that must be something ... indeed - it is:
Dry spicy-aromatic, a little animalic, no blossom (wonderful), a little tobacco-smoky, no fruit ... although ... even if it sounds very strange now: it has a little bit of ashtray in positive with slightly fruity hints. I haven't smoked for more than 25 years and find cigarette smells in particular :-( ... but this is good.
Sillage and longevity could be a good deal better, but that makes this light aromatic-spicy and only slightly animalic fragrance suitable for everyday wear and therefore for work.
After eight hours or more, light, spicy cinnamon notes remain.
The heavy, rectangular, slightly bulbous bottle with a beautiful amber color gradient looks classy. The shiny gold could have been used with a little more restraint.
