I smelled this in person at SF Scent Fest and walked away with a 30ML bottle - one of the best buys I've made in awhile.

The saffron comes through yellow and warm, but there's an irresistible nuttiness from the cardamom as well. I had regretted not also purchasing Cloud Cardamom but this really scratches the itches! Sillage and duration is also good, enveloping you in a cushion of golden warmness that is absolutely delicious.

This fragrance to me really embodies the color of yellow, which is similar to Clue's Warm Bulb but even more heavenly smelling. Highly recommend if you're a fan of saffron and cardamom notes.

Wow, this opening is a gorgeous bouquet of rose and spices. I’m getting a creamy, warm cardamom note with a rich, velvety and incandescent saffron note. It’s underpinned by a sweet rose and a hint of something herbal. Despite its complexity, there’s also something deeply comforting about this combination of scents. All I can say is that so far, this fragrance is nothing short of stunning.

30 minutes in and this has taken on a somewhat milky tone with a tonka bean undertone. God, I can’t get over how beautiful this is. It’s just a perfect combination of soft spices, florals, aromatics, and creamy notes.

3 hours on and while the projection is starting to fade, the fragrance itself remains strong. An earthy patchouli has made an appearance next to spices and tonka bean, adding to the overall warmth.

“Saffron” lasted well into the night and I can still smell it on my clothes the following morning. This is honestly one of the most beautiful fragrances I’ve tried thus far in my perfume journey. I definitely want a full bottle of this in my collection and I’ll likely wear it constantly.

A bright, airy saffron scent with lightly spiced milky sweetness. It's not *quite* a gourmand but leans in that direction. There's something cooling about it, but it's appropriate for all weather. Many saffron scents have a deep leathery aspect but this one stays light and floral. I like to wear it over a lactonic vanilla lotion to bring out the gourmand facets.
