Prakhar is a genius
This level of blending for a house that is just starting out: definitely a house to look out for.
In the opening, a strong dose of musk grains hits you with that animalic, stretched out veneer type of scent that is reminiscent of those used by Russian Adam. The acidity afforded by the citrus fruits is counterbalanced with the spices, while keeping the musk in the forefront.
For the price, some have mentioned that a stronger dosage of musk could have been included in Chrysos but I think for what it's worth, it is a composition that is worthy of collectors that enjoy natural musk scents (i.e., in the roundhouse of Mriga, Siberian Musk III, and so on...).
If there is anything to complain about... the new packaging is an improvement but there are some flaws in the production (e.g., silk-screening smudges on the bottle, incomplete letters on the box) but that is secondary. This is a wonderful effort by basically a one-man show.
All in all, I think that this is worth the price of admission. Fellow lovers of musk, do not sleep on this. More adequately so, do not sleep on the house of Sherwood.
