The greatest scent i have ever smelled
I’ve been on this site for about two weeks, and i just want to place my first review and say this is the best fragrance i have ever smelled.
Here is the story of how i discovered it.
I work as a security guard in the center of Amsterdam. Because of my job, i smell all kinds of perfumes every day, so i have become quite familiar with different scents.
Last weekend i wasn’t supposed to work, which is one of the reasons i believe this fragrance feels so special to me. My colleague called in sick on saturday, so i had to cover his shift. I got ready in a hurry and didn’t spray on any perfume, so my nose was completely clear and nothing was interfering with my sense of smell that day.
The store was very busy that afternoon, so i had to stay alert at all times.
At around 13:00, two South Asian Guys walked in to the store. At first, nothing seemed unusual. But as they walked past where i was standing, i caught a scent that immediately captivated me. It made me lose my focus for a moment.
When i first smelled it, i thought, this has to be Roja Oceania Parfum. I have smelled Oceania EDP before but never the Parfum, so i assumed this was simply a richer, stronger, and more refined version of it. But there was something different from that, and i needed to know for sure if it was that.
According to our store policy, we are not supposed to interact with customers or ask personal questions, as it could effect their shopping experience. I also wasn’t supposed to leave my post. But i kept thinking that i don’t want to spend the rest of my life wondering what that incredible smell was. I thought no one would notice if i was gone for just a few seconds, so i took the risk.
Just before they stepped onto the escalator, i quickly ran over and said, sorry, i have a question. They looked scared at first. I immediately reassures them that nothing was wrong and explained that they smelled amazing and that i just had to know what fragrance they were wearing. I also apologized for interrupting their day.
They were really friendly. The gentleman wearing the fragrance told me it was Sherwood Blue Pearl, a perfume from an Indian brand. He said he had owned the bottle for quite a while and thag it actually wasn’t his favorite from the brand. He said because it was 28 degree celcius in Amsterdam that day, he chose it as his fragrance for the hot weather.
After our conversation, i did not see them again. They left from the other exit, i wanted to thank them once more.
I could’nt wait for my break so i could look it up. It was suprisiny difficult to find information about the fragrance, but eventually i found it here on Parfumo. The listed notes perfectly match what i experienced.
It is difficult to describe exactly what it smelled like. To me, it has a creamy, buttery ice cream smell, but there is much more going on than that. I am not really skilled at breaking down perfume, and i certainly don’t have an expert nose.
All i know is that this is, without a doubt, the most magnificent fragrance i have ever smelled.
P.S.
Sorry for this long review and for my bad english i can’t use AI to correct my sentences.
And sorry i have to refer them as South Asia because i don’t know where they are from so i took a guess, hopefully this isn’t seen as racist or offensive
