Strawberries and cream
I've been looking for a good strawberry and cream scent and this perfume exceeded all expectations.
At first spray, it's straight strawberries. Not the usual, synthetic strawberry scent used in fragrances, but instead very fresh, acidic and borderline citrusy, realistic strawberries. After about an hour, the strawberry becomes less acidic and the creamy, lightly lactonic milk notes emerge. It smells like a big, juicy strawberry swiped through whipped cream.
For the middle portion of the wear, from about hours three to six, the scent is strawberry, cream and a slight powder. From there, the musk comes out soft and cozy and the condensed milk reinforces the creaminess of the scent, eliminating the powdery notes. For the rest of the wear, it's strawberries, musk and cream.
Overall, I really love this perfume and am very glad that the strawberry scent was present for the entirety of the wear. It lasted for 11 hours on me and the sillage was moderate. This is definitely gourmand but, because the strawberry is more fresh than sweet, I feel that it could work well in warm or cold weather.
