The Perfect Spring Gourmand

For me, the magic of mochi milk is in the drydown, about 10-20 minutes after initial application. That is when the warm, ambery skin scent Dedcool is known for really starts to come through and is enhanced by the sweet notes. Though sweet, this smells like a very clean musk to me and is a perfect gourmand for transitioning into warmer days. The opening is not as candy sweet as a typical celeb fragrance for example, but it is the sweetest part and smooths out within 5 minutes.

The bottle is minimalistic but rather boring in my opinion - I wish Dedcool would have done light pink lettering instead of black to make it stand out and align with the imagery they created for marketing.

A Beautifully Restrained Gourmand

Unlike Dedcool's Milk and Xtra Milk, I can actually smell Mochi Milk, and oh is it a pretty one! Peach is listed as a note, but to me, Mochi Milk smells like the cream on a Strawberry Pocky. It is airy, lactonic, slightly starchy, and surprisingly fresh. It doesn't last too long so I prefer to spray this one heavily. Despite the brief longetivity, Mochi Milk is definitely a winner in Dedcool's lineup.

It’s pretty

At first i get this powdery & sugary sweet scent, not necessarily marshmallow but if someone told you “this is marshmallow”, then you’d get it.
Then it started to remind me of Yum Boujee Marshmallow from kayali, a fruity marshmallow scent, which also reminded me of the marshmallow body mist from ellis brooklyn (that one smells like YBM too)
A little later i get more of a powdery scent, can smell a bit like powdery soap but a fruity sweet.
I dont think i’d get a full bottle though

Mature Marshmallow

Love at first sniff. Opens with a milky bowl of lucky charm marshmallows, and dries down to a sweet soft musk that I recognize from previously trying Dedcool's "Milk".

This is a skin scent so I didn't expect strong silage. However, my only issue is longevity. I've yet to find a way to make the scent last more than a couple hours on me. That will be the main reason holding me back from a full bottle purchase.

Powdery, Fruity Marshmallow

This is such a nice fragrance! Upon first spray, this reminds me of Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81, but more fruity/peachy. It starts off sweet smelling and gets more powdery when it dries down. The dry down smells more like straight up marshmallows. Like, imagine putting your face directly into a bag of marshmallows— that's what it smells like. I don't know if I'm getting "mochi" per se, but I definitely get marshmallows.

I would definitely consider this a skin scent. I really can't smell it on myself unless I press my wrist to my nose. The longevity isn't very good either (maybe 2-3 hours? 4 if I'm being generous). I did buy myself a travel sized bottle but I don't think I'll buy a full sized bottle just based on the sillage/longevity. It's still a really nice scent though!
