fruity mystery drink on vacation!
I recieved a 10ml of this perfume free of charge when i won a giweaway actually. The notes didnt really match my preferences but this scent was actually really good. I pick up on some florals, rum and something similar to pear which smells amazing in perfume! Sadly this is a bit feminime leaning so i gifted it to my mother but i could really see a man or a female wearing this scent!

Perfect Tropical Fragrance
St. John USVI is an extremely well blended creamy, sweet, fruity MASTERPIECE.

My #2 Fragrance of all time

Opening is creamy and fruity, with the guava, and it dries down a little more sweet, but keeps that fruitiness.

Amazing. Truly the best tropical fragrance I’ve smelt, next to Miami and miami TC, Niles KILLS it on tropical fragrances.

A Masterpiece for Other Noses
So I must describe St. John, USVI unfortunately.
On paper, I was convinced that I had found the perfect fruity summer fragrance. I only ordered a sample to see whether the scent leans more masculine or feminine. Unfortunately, it turned out that St. John, USVI is subjective and, for me, unbearable.

At the beginning, guava and lime alternate with passion fruit and quince. The fruits smell like a cheap ready-made cocktail from the Penny store brand, rather artificial. This mixture gives me a prickling sensation in my sinuses and a headache.

My expectations were then based on the drydown, hoping that rum, vanilla, and cane sugar would develop a warm, boozy scent.

Unfortunately, those hopes were not confirmed. The coconut becomes stronger as the fruits fade, creating an uncomfortably sweet, sticky smell with the rum and cane sugar.

As if you left a bottle of Malibu rum outside overnight at a summer party, so that the bottle now sticks to the table and is covered in ants. Oddly artificial.

Subjectively, I cannot assign the scent to any gender. St. John, USVI is definitely unisex.
Nevertheless, I must begrudgingly acknowledge that it is an excellent performance beast.
Even after 14 hours, the attempt to wash off the scent, and 1000 meters in the pool, the Malibu bottle is still recognizable.
The sillage is so strong that St. John, USVI hits you in the face while cycling after you've showered.
Incredible!

Also, regarding the price, I must say, top-notch. Only $190 for 100ml with this performance is practically a steal.

In conclusion, it is definitely not a blind buy, but if you like the scent, it is definitely a great investment.

A literal fruit BOMB that gets sweeter and stronger over time. Insane longevity and HUGE sillage, but unfortunately gives me a headache.

It's basically a nuclear room spray. It smells ok, but does not smell like a fragrance you would wear in my opinion.

I hate to say it but this stuff is AWFUL! It smells like a cleaning product or room spray. One of the worst fragrances I’ve ever smelled.

Tropical fruit cocktail. It's a little synthetic, but only if you overspray it. It's a nice buy.

Close your eyes and spray it on, and you’re sipping cocktails on the beach in Cuba. Insanely exciting scent. Tropical, realistic guava. TOP

Zesty tropical slightly sour fruits with a creamy coconut base. My favorite fruity scent right now!
