Beachside smoothie shop

Citrus and sweet, this smells like squeezing fresh oranges in an air-conditioned beachside smoothie shop in the middle of summer. I don't get any powder from this on my skin, though my skin does tend to get along with sweet, tropical, and citrus notes, so that might be a factor. I went through a major citrus phase a few years ago, but these days this is too citrus-forward for my current preferences.

A cloud of powder

When I first applied this I got a burst of orange sherbet and cotton candy. Surprisingly it wasn't overly sweet or what some would consider juvenile. The tonka bean and sandalwood tempered it from being so. However, after about 30 minutes, it began smelling slightly powdery. As time progressed and the 2 hour mark hit, it smelled like citrus infused powder that I imagine a 1940's burlesque dancer would apply on herself before getting on stage. The dry down smells very vintage-y and not what I was expecting from the notes or the name. I would not consider this a citrus gourmand after the initial first hour of wear passes. I wish the perfume remained like how it initially smelled because it was such a great mildly sweet, orange sherbet scent.
