A sweet, airy, musky vanilla with a cosmic vibe.
Personal: 7.5/10 – Pleasant, creamy-sweet vanilla with a musky, airy quality. I like it, though it’s a bit too soft, sweet and minimal for me to crave wearing often.
Mass appeal: 8.5/10 – Vanilla-musk is one of the most universally likable DNAs, and the airy sweetness and lavender oil makes this extra approachable.
Performance: 6/10 – Moderate longevity, but projection is pretty light. More of a skin scent.
Value: 6.5/10 – Sorce’s indie pricing is on the higher side, and while the fragrance is nice, it doesn’t feel complex enough to justify a premium price. Though, I respect the artistry and small house premium.
Uniqueness: 6.5/10 – Vanilla-musk is common, but the airy, “spacey” twist and vivid lavender is a subtle differentiator. Still, it’s more pleasant than groundbreaking.
SCORE: 70/100
Full bottle buy? NO, too soft and minimal for me, though it’s nice.
Blind buy? YES, safe enough. Most people will enjoy it, though it’s not exciting.
Recommend? YES, if you want a soft, sweet, cosmic-style vanilla musk and lavender.
Date night? YES, it’s cozy and sweet enough for intimate settings, though not bold.
Office safe? NO, though it's subtle and inoffensive, it's a bit too lactonic for the board room.
Pros: Soft vanilla-musk sweetness, easy to wear, mass appealing and cozy from the lavender.
Cons: A bit generic, pricey for the simplicity, performance is underwhelming despite concentration.
Moon Magic feels like the moon and stars in an old children's book as a fragrance. It's got a creamy, lactonic vanilla sweetness, a slightly spicy chai tea note, and a gorgeous photorealistic night-time lavender note. This smells about as cozy as it gets. There's relatively little evolution to it, but you can enjoy every moment of it.
A cosmic vanilla-musk that’s easy to wear, but recommended for wearing before bed time, cause it's super cozy!
Review #155 in my fragrance journey – this fragrance I own as a decant
