Sweet pistachio ice cream in a bottle
This is very true to the name!
A creamy, fluffy, ultra sweet pistachio. Accents of almond, sugary vanilla and whipped cream make it even more scrumptious. It reminds me of pistachio ice cream, topped with a few crumbled almond cookies. The base of the scent is a sugary white musk. This doesn't have the savoriness of roasted, salted pistachios, it's clearly in the ice cream/dessert realm.
So, you really have to like it sweet to appreciate this scent.
I even understand why some might say it smells more like a scented candle than a perfume, but well, in this case it's a good candle that I wouldn't mind smelling like. And I say that even though I often find waxy, candle-like background notes in gourmands rather offputting.
In my opinion the grass green liquid doesn't fit the scent, it should be a light pastel green, maybe with some soft pink swirls. The scent feels too girly and cute for such a glaring hue.
Regarding the comparison to Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato, I think it's a matter of personal preferences in the end. If you like a more perfumey, multilayered gourmand with floral accents, pafchouli etc., the Kayali is for you. If you prefer something more foody, realistic, straight to the point, Sphinx it is. I'm a perfumey gourmand girl, so I'd chose Kayali, but I totally understand how others would chose Sphinx.
