Strange transition
I will first say that Oceanic Symphony is definitely not a linear fragrance. It evolves from the opening to the dry down, starting out with a blast of citrus. This was short lived on its own, as suddenly another scent appeared that I can only describe as nutty, as in some sort of nut spread (not peanut butter). As I was wondering where the ocean was, another sudden strong appearance popped up that I can only describe as Grandma Juice. I'm assuming that was caused by a heavy dose of the musk, perhaps combined with the salt. Struck me as quite feminine, in a grandma sorta way. This assault only lasted a short while as the marine accord appeared, assuming due to the ambergris, which was mixed with that nutty scent. Occasionally, I also got very slight whiffs of chocolate. On top of that, it is also a somewhat sweet scent and synthetic. I found it to be a very unattractive fragrance. Not a scrubber, but not good.
Performance was good. Longevity to the next morning with strong projection for the first few hours. Outside of the middle phase, Oceanic Symphony strikes me as a unisex fragrance. But definitely not for me.
