The sufferings of the young vanilla addict

It was bound to happen.
Yes, it had to come so that I also one day the victim of a disappointing blind purchase. Now I sit here after more than two months of waiting and am more than disappointed. My expectations were undoubtedly way too high and yet I feel cheated. Betrayed by myself. Me, the biggest vanilla lover on this planet doesn't like a vanilla scent. How is that possible?
One word, six letters. Ginger.
Ginger, the component of which I hoped not to perceive too strongly, unfortunately dominates the entire scent for me. The vanilla plays unfortunately only the second or rather the fourth fiddle. Nonetheless, I have to say that the vanilla note itself just smells beautifully like vanilla pudding and had it not been for that aggressive ginger note, I guarantee we would have become very good friends. But as they say in Shakespeare's Hamlet: Lirum, Larum!
In summary, I would say that the fragrance smells VERY strongly of ginger / citrus notes and who likes that can rejoice, because the Dua fragrances really convince with excellent sillage and durability.
