Aromatic green fig with citrus
Realistic green fig, citrusy bergamot and lime opening. Very aromatic and a little bit spicey. To me it reads as masculine, perhaps because of the strong cedar, but looking at the Saltworks reviews it seems to be mostly women buying this fragrance. I'm not a big fan of prominent citrus so it's hard for me to really get behind this, it really kind of reminds me of a man's shower gel or soap from maybe 20 years ago. Okay, I won't be coy... it reminds me of my dad!
It's not a sweet, milky, or fruity kind of fig. It's very fresh, invigorating, summery, and quite uplifting. The scent is quite powerful and doesn't evolve notably over time. It feels very high quality to my nose and suspect many others would rate it higher. This is simply just not the profile I go for.
