The "Excite (Aftershave) | Axe / Lynx" is a solid aftershave with a rather pleasant scent. The fragrance components are quite diverse, so there will be something for everyone - or it may turn out to be bothersome.
The top note starts with a mix of fruity, metallic, green, and aquatic aromas. I mainly recognize citrus, pears, and shower gel. The heart note then becomes quite sweet and creamy with aromas of coconut milk, caramel, and marshmallows. In the background, there is also a subtle herbal note. The base is both green-earthy, woody, and sweet with notes of nuts, cocoa, bourbon vanilla, and tonka beans.
The longevity and sillage are once again quite restrained. Aftershave, after all.
