I found it quite okay

I just noticed that I only reviewed the "Excite (Aftershave) | Axe / Lynx" here but not the nearly identical "Excite (Eau de Toilette) | Axe / Lynx." The Eau de Toilette is somewhat more intense and less alcoholic compared to the After Shave. However, the longevity and sillage are unfortunately still not great - the scent is not much better either.

In the top note, there is a combination of aquatic, green, fruity, and metallic aromas. I particularly detect citrus, pears, and a shower gel scent. The heart note is creamy and sweet with aromas of marshmallows, caramel, and coconut milk. In the background, subtle herbal notes can also be discerned. The base is both green-earthy, sweet, and woody with notes of nuts, cocoa, bourbon vanilla, and tonka beans.

I was wandering around DM when I received a text from my boyfriend... he wanted the Axe Excite deodorant.
I couldn't find it anywhere! Zero! Nothing!
In desperation, I sought advice from a saleswoman, who then revealed to me that it was no longer in stock!?

Well. Of course, out of "FRUSTRATION," I headed to the perfume aisle.
Next to me stood an older, very hip gentleman who was spraying himself with various scents... I felt a wave of nausea. He took one bottle after another and sprayed and sprayed and sprayed...

Just as I was about to grab some perfume from the shelf, the old man held something under my nose and asked, "Isn't this for men?"

Before I even thought about answering his question... a very bitter scent hit me, almost sweet..

Without knowing what he was holding under my nose, I reached for the test strip, which was slowly smelling sweeter under my nose... a bit harsh, angular? Scratchy? Loud and somehow very soft and round, ahhh it was just different from what I was used to... I wanted to know what it was.

The old man took a package from the shelf and pressed it into my hand. Man, that guy was out of this world

The longevity on my skin is very good (up to 5 hours), for just under €6 I don't expect a miracle.
Great sweet-bitter scent.
Well, in any case, my boyfriend didn't get his deodorant and instead treated me to a men's perfume.

The Gourmand from AXE

Recently at "Rudi's Reste Rampe." I went in, just to look, not to buy anything, and as ALWAYS came out with a bag full of knick-knacks. Typical me! Also included was a fragrance that I would never have bought under other circumstances. But € 1.99 for 50ml EDT, if that isn't a steal. I strongly assume that one of the saleswomen must have made a mistake while labeling the price tags (no barcode, here it's still read and typed in by hand!!!)
I’m going to stick up for AXE now. The company's advertising strategy hasn't changed since the 80s. AXE turns spotty boys into hot guys that no girl can resist, transforms clumsy farmers into great charmers that ladies flock to, and spins straw into gold. Ugh, how annoying I am again!

AXE is and has always been one thing: cheap! Somewhat tacky and embarrassing, but I liked and still like AXE. Especially Alaska and Musk had me captivated.

But now let’s slowly get to the new "jewel" of my collection. Excite unmistakably rides the currently trendy gourmand wave. Quite sweet and a bit dark in the background with a familiar vanilla note that reminds me of those yellow air fresheners from the gas station. A sillage that takes your breath away at first and a longevity that is quite OK for drugstore products. But I admit it. I have only used it once so far, and that was during sports. It's not bad. Objectively speaking, based on the price-fragrance ratio, I can honestly give Excite 80%. But only based on that. Taking everything else into account, a good 60%.
