The most familiar aroma of three new scents
After trying out the three scents in this new collection, Fleur Danger spoke to me in a way that I had experienced before. I had no idea what the notes actually were, but it brought out elements of scents that I like. My first thought was that it had Aldehydes and maybe a mix of Rose and Saffron, and a touch of western oud. This reminded me of Taif Aoud Parfum , although the scent itself is not the same. Another thought was Raspberry and the aforementioned oud-like aroma, which is also found in Oud Nude .
When I got the notes, the pieces of the scent fell into place. Apparently the synthetic molecules used in the scent made it feel like a synthetically constructed Oud. Orcanox is designed to replicate the luxurious and complex aroma of natural ambergris. Suederal on the other hand has a rich, powerful, and smoky aroma that replicates the scent of leather and suede, sometimes Castoreum as well. Together they smell like synthetic oud to my nose with a hint of delicate, clean and soft suede. Somehow, the opening still feels like an Aldehyde-like airiness, but it may come from the steel, which is mentioned in the notes. In addition to the fresh scent, Aldehydes bring a cold, almost icy feel to some fragrances, and that same coldness comes from the steel. There is no Rose in the scent, but it came more from the association with Taif Aoud and Raspberry and Saffron are there, which were distinguishable even at first impression.
Despite the airiness, the scent has a rich texture and a delicate creaminess thanks to Sandalwood. Gurjum balsam belongs to the balsamic and resinous family, but it is nevertheless a fresh woody note, which complements the airiness.
Fleur Danger is clearly the most different of the three fragrances in the new collection. It doesn't clearly smell like flowers, nor are they listed as notes, but my association with Taif Aoud Parfum still makes me think of roses - the kind of mountain rose that wafts up from the fresh mountains. In this case, it's like a frozen rose, which gets its spicy, earthy aroma from Saffron and a hint of sweetness from Raspberry. The more I wear this the stronger Raspberry performs and it’s pushing through the other notes, it’s absolutely irresistible and so well done.
Fleur Danger is a clearly unisex scent in my opinion, as it has nothing that is traditionally considered feminine, while both Neo Eden and Jade Amour have a sensual femininity that is noticeable, while both scents are still suitable for everyone without prejudice. The longevity is around 6-7 hours on my skin, I can smell it 7-8 hours but the last 1-2 hours are very weak. The projection is great but it’s not that kind of super strong that people smell it before they see you. It’s just perfect.
I have written the review of surprising Neo Eden and addictive Jade Amour earlier.
Thank you for reading, I hope you liked my review and it was helpful.
