I'm absolutely in love with this perfume. What a beauty! I have only a sample, and I put this perfume at the top of my wish list because it's incredible. Amazing linden and heliotrope mix with a pinch of salt like splashes of the sea. You just inhale and inhale and can't stop. I would not say it's warming. There's something cold about it (as if it's just a feeling), yet it's so beautiful in cold weather. It’s out of my price range, but it's worth every penny.

yellow, beige & brown

opens all sunshine yellow flowers; sweet, powdery, fluffy mimosa & gently citrusy, warm linden, followed shortly by heliotrope as the perfume develops. the vanilla makes itself more known in the base, along with a salty aspect that cuts through the creaminess. i wouldn't say 'smoked' exactly, (perhaps ever-so-slightly) but there is definitely a not-overly-dark woody aspect, perhaps even a little nutty with the almond-like nuances of heliotrope. overall pleasant. becomes more laundry / synthetic musk-like later on which isn't ideal but still nice at least. not the loudest performer but has definite presence for the first hour or so before becoming more intimate.

Cotton flower fields

Sol Salgado has the most beautiful cotton flower accord - it truly smells like jumping into the cotton flower field during the sunset. It is extremely comforting and plush, slightly sweet, clean and cosy.

I personally do not get the truly dark smoke per se, I guess it's more of that warm radiating vanilla :) My favorite discovery of 2025.

Coastal Walk

From the cold sea, I emerge with linden blossoms. Sunbeams warm my skin covered in seawater. A soft cotton towel kisses my still cool skin. The wind carries scents of sweet, slightly citrusy floral aromas of mimosa through the air. I stroll along the coast. Driftwood encounters me, carried to the shore by gentle waves.
It is a wonderful summer evening. Soft melodies and the sound of the sea adorn the atmosphere. In the sun-drenched landscape, a restaurant sits in solitude. A couple is spending a romantic summer evening. From the kitchen wafts a delicate fragrance of spicy, smoky, warm vanilla. The sweetness mingles with the salty warm air of the ocean. Until the sun gradually sets.

Sol Salgado is a beautiful, complex fragrance. Very harmonious, balanced, and multifaceted. Nothing disturbs. Unfortunately, it fades on my skin after about 5 hours.

Sun Rays and Fresh Sea Air

This fragrance is hard to describe. Only a few scents evoke a deep feeling in me. This scent grounds, calms, and warms. The cotton blossom reminds me of fresh bed linen, through the open window you can smell the sea air, and the skin smells of sun rays and sea. Very special. Not like some perfumes that carry the sun in their name and smell rather synthetic, like cheap sunscreen.
It lasts 5-6 hours and you only need a few sprays.
