Not good at all
Wisent was pretty linear for me - not much development with the same scent from start to finish. And, that scent was pretty awful - sort of a musty, stale and creamy synthetic laundry detergent scent. I got zero hay or grassy notes out of it. Strange, because Rhinoceros (2020), for example, has a clear grassy note even though there are many other notes in its fragrance pyramid. Wisent is just plain awful. Not bad enough to be a scrubber but certainly not anything I want to smell like.

Performance was moderate as was the sillage.

Comfy Stable
This open with a beautiful airy green straw scent. The greens and grapefruit at the top help it stay crisp and fresh, dewy like a morning after rain.
Shortly after, it settles into the smell of freshy yet dusty hay. Although a Wisent is a bovine this really reminds me of the smell of being around horses. When I was younger I was enrolled in some horse riding classes because, the area I live in has a huge culture of horses and racing. This scent reminds me of that time, the scent of stables and specifically the hay that the horses would eat.
As the freshness wears away once again we step even closer to the animal, the muskiness comes through along with the hay. This is not a horse after a race, it is not full of adrenaline and steaming with heat, it is relaxed, lounging. When you close to a horse like this you are reminded that although they are strong, steadfast and hardy, horses they are above all gentle creatures and this scent reminds me of the feeling of being comfortable in their presence.

I have no doubt that a Wisent has a similar feeling if I were to stand near one.

Fruity grassy greens
I did not know what a Wisent was before trying this scent (European Bison, by the way). Despite the name, this scent is surprisingly not animalic. Wisent opens with fruity greens with a grassy undertone and to me this comes off as an unintentional, but very realistic, asafoetida gum accord. It brought back memories of having to swallow little chunks of it with water as a kid because it "kills worms in your belly." Asafoetida smells like a sharper, more sulfuric garlic. It's not necessarily bad here, as it masked with the fruity sweetness. As the greens fade off the scent cools to a warm vanillic hay. Unlike anything I have sampled and the most wearable of the scents I've tried from this house.

A veil of plastic over a puzzlingly naturalistic vomit-esque accord. Milky, wet hay in the late drydown. What the hell is this?

Sweet animalic musks, with honeyed green grass that's perfect for naturalists. There's a freshness in the top notes that rounds out nicely.

Wet hay and acorns, grass, tar and distant forest fruits. Unique forest meadow. But don't be afraid neither of the wisent nor of the scent
