I love Gourmand above all, and when I heard about this release, I just had to buy it. So, I ordered it with great anticipation, and when it arrived, I eagerly and happily opened it, sprayed it on, smelled it, and… coffee, and quite a lot of it, and bitter. Along with a splash of Amaretto, a little dollop of vanilla, and I didn’t smell anything else for 10 minutes. I was starting to feel disappointed, but look, the sweetness is coming. It gradually becomes sweeter, and the coffee slowly recedes into the background but remains present. After 20-30 minutes, the scent is really beautiful, and you could just bite into it, but that strong coffee at the beginning takes away a few points. Overall, it’s a successful fragrance, but that bitter black coffee at the start is difficult for me; one must love coffee to love this scent.
