All-rounder
One of my first fragrances. Basically the first fragrance from which I bought a 100ml bottle because I liked it so much.
I have to say that I found it even better when I bought it than I did after more than a year, I don't really know what has changed, but the vibe from back then doesn't come across that well anymore, unfortunately.

I have handled it in the way that from autumn onwards the Extreme variant was worn for everyday use, on warmer days from spring onwards it was replaced by the "normal" Allure Homme sport, which I like even better by the way

With AHSEE I hear chords similar to AHS when spraying on immediately, but within a few minutes they are replaced by very warm, flattering notes. A pleasant, slightly fresh sweetness surrounds me afterwards good 6-7h (apropo, I use here max. 2 sprayers, everything else kills me...), whereby I do not perceive a large course of smell - I find that a pity, I enjoyed the transition from "morning sun at the sea" to "romantic dinner in the evening" in the figurative sense just at AHS. I could imagine a very good sandalwood dry-down at AHSEE, maybe with light notes from The One by D&G, but unfortunately I don't hear that. As already mentioned so often, the tonka bean predominates strongly, but not in a negative sense!

The joke is that no fragrance I've tried has pleased my environment as much as this one. I tried it out on a colleague for fun and somehow recognized what Mr. Fragrance meant with his different distances (yes at that time I had watched a video before the purchase ;)). The scent cloud behind one seems to be indescribably good, I would tend towards 10; what I smell coming from my neck I would file with a 7.

In my opinion, wearable all day long, as already indicated, it would be a bit too heavy/sweet for me for the summer. The environment seems to be very happy in any case, compared to Sauvage I have not yet smelled him "at every corner".

Slowly the days become more suitable for AHSEE again, I am very curious, whether my purchase impression of that time is confirmed again and look forward to using it more often again

Thank you very much for reading!

Did you take any medicine?
This was my grandmother's welcome today when I visited her for lunch after a short city tour. Before I had dared a few sprayers on my wrist with Douglas, nevertheless, also this older smell should be so strong in character, which many new publications allegedly would be less.

At first I must say, I liked Egoiste rather less well. I also had to think of something medical for a short time, maybe because of the quite dominant carnation. But here also not negative - somehow.

Over time, the odor has developed into a quite pleasant note. There were sweeter impressions, I could not have said exactly which spice it was. I've seen cinnamon in the fragrance pyramid, when I concentrate on it I can guess the component quite well.

Even now, after six hours, I still perceive the scent quite strongly, it has taken on a rosy, spicy note with the ubiquitous soft carnation for me.

Finally, I must confess, yes, the fragrance - compared to Sauvage or Bottled, for example - really has an independent, strong character. Only he won't be my absolute favorite. Platinum Egoiste doesn't have much in common with Egoiste anymore, but I like it better.

Also difficult for me to judge is what to wear him for... Maybe best for a good dinner with colleagues or friends, not a date. For everyday life less.

Thanks for reading!

Antaius
Since I have been reading Parfumo for quite some time now and have now decided to register, I would like to dedicate my first comment to what in my opinion is an extraordinary fragrance.

Antaios - giant - mythology - invincible power.
Some of the first words that may be associated with the perfume. And indeed, in my opinion, this line is also consistently implemented in the perfume. Here we already have the rough, robust, basically not graceful or beautiful looking bottle on the outside - an expression of strength. On the other hand, a fragrance that doesn't seem to fit into the current world at all - almost like a myth

To be honest, when I spray Antaeus on, I don't hear any easily separable notes. This may be due to my untrained nose, but perhaps also partly to the fact that they interweave very harmoniously with each other. I can roughly imagine in the scent what Castoreum should smell like. In any case, I always consider the fragrance to be very artistically constructed.

For a long time I wondered what character this fragrance would suit, who I would like to smell it to. And in my thoughts there was always only one fictitious person/scene:
A handsome, tall, very athletic boss, perfectly dressed in a suit and carefully shaved, enters a conference room where his employees are already waiting and talking to each other. He is no one who has to distinguish himself from others, no one who only swings big words, no one who seems bossy. But a respectful person through his performance, deeds and his polite, understanding manner. Alone by the appearance the space falls silent. And just as the employees are respectfully silenced, all other fragrances in Antaeus' presence are also silent. He is simply superior to them and knows all the masculine scents of recent years in their bounds. It may not smell better than them, but it is more expressive, safer, more powerful.

I think such people are very rare these days, unfortunately. But I can't really imagine this enormous scent on anyone else, contrary to the often held opinion in the statements. On no biker with a leather jacket and an unkempt beard who makes a big deal out of "thick pants" or other machos.
The fragrance radiates in my eyes a much too great elegance "at second glance", which only a suit appreciates.
I wish I could wear it very much, but it wouldn't fit.
Antaeus, like his eponym, has perhaps become a myth.
