"Railway to the Rooftop" by Philly & Phill appealed to me straight away. When you spray it on, the mandarin immediately comes through - fresh, slightly citrusy, with a hint of saffron that adds a subtle spice. It's not a fragrance that overwhelms you, but one that reveals itself gradually, without much fuss.

Rose and caramel mingle in the heart. It sounds sweet at first, but the rose keeps it in check so that it doesn't become too heavy. It is an interesting blend that is not run-of-the-mill, but does not come across as over-the-top either. Oud is added later, but it is very restrained, almost mild. Together with patchouli and a little leather in the base, it gives the fragrance a pleasant depth without it becoming too wild.

I think "Railway to the Rooftop" goes well with a quiet evening - perhaps not quite as mysterious as the name suggests, but definitely pleasant. The longevity is solid, you still notice it after a few hours without it being overpowering. I find it suitable for fall or winter if you are looking for something that warms without dominating. A fragrance that is simply there and doesn't need to stand out."

Mefisto Gentiluomo from Casamorati is a wonderful summer fragrance. It is significantly better than the normal Mefisto.

Very fresh, sporty and elegant, it can be worn for any occasion.
One drawback: it wears off a little over time and therefore doesn't last as long as other fragrances from Xerjoff/Casamorati

Pi by Givenchy, apparently almost 25 years old and still on the market. That says a lot.

I came across the fragrance by chance because the shape of the bottle stood out a little from the crowd.

The fragrance is a warm, hearty fall/winter scent with an adult note.
Village and durability in the mid-range but due to the low price this is not a problem.

Stands out from other fragrances and should not be missing from the collection in winter.
