If perfumes had to be politically correct
OK, in two sentences: It's well above average, but that's about it.
There. I said it. I mean I wear it almost every day, and I love it. but I don't know why it's regarded that highly, specially compared to new designs and brave works in the world of fragrances. I think you can say this perfume is that one fine guy in the office who's always politically correct, sharp, on time, polite and always fresh. But come on! The only thing that guy lacks is being interesting. It's impossible to get a unique experience with something that is so polished and popular. It's a perfume that you'd wear if you're too scared to lose a date because of your choice of perfume, but it doesn't necessarily represent your choice or character. It's just popular.

Unapologetic dominant
You will find all sorts of fine analysis on the notes of this perfume. Since I have nothing else to add to those, I'll save you the technical stuff. But I will say that one thing that strikes me about this perfume is that unlike other fragrances that put an effort in balancing notes off and creating a harmony with highs and lows and sharps and smooths, etc. this fragrance is bold and rich. The creators have sort of unapologetically stated it's dominant features, without feeling the need to sugarcoat it with unnecessary hints and notes. That aside, it's one of the most long living perfumes I have ever tried. The more interesting fact is that no matter how long after use, if you can still smell it, you will smell all of it's base, subnotes and features. It's as if all of them attenuate together, which indicates they have been well balanced in the first place.
